@QAl7177 The original Gypsy Kings was formed in 1979/1980 by two main families, the Reyes & Baliardo, with their brothers & then mostly cousins ( and friends ). With passage of time, Nicolas Reyes branched out with his two sons & Tonino Baliardo also with his sons ( however both groups sharing the brand name Gypsy Kings "label" ). Under the Gypsy Kings website, these two groups have published their own independent concert series & shows. Chico Bouchikhi ( part of the original GK ) also formed his group, Chico & the gypsies < after leaving the original label >. So in 2024, there are 3 newer generations: Nicolas & his sons, Tonino & his son, and Andre & his son. Chico isn't considered part of the GK family branch. The other sons, cousins & nephews of the GK label/original band also toured & played together but can not use the GK label. Lot of histories herein.
