Lmao. I was about to comment that. Like jeez that guys talented but he's belting musical numbers. Wonder if he'll sing another one I know so I can sing too. Lol
I just want to point out that Tveit was recovering from the Coronavirus and was able to sing this beautifully. He's insanely talented. And of course, crazy gorgeous but that goes without saying.
Aaron Tveit has that rare ability to take a familiar song and sing it as if you've never heard it before. Hands down one of my favourite Broadway performers.
the first time I watched this I had to pause the stream of the birthday celebration and take the dog for a walk because I was so overwhelmed by this man singing directly into the camera
2:41 The way this song softens is so touching 🥺 Hope Aaron releases another album sometime soon considering his live set list has changed a whole lot since 2013.
Aaron's sustained notes are the acid test of a fine singing voice; and his are like momentary aural glimpses of Heaven. I'm so glad that he's getting the success that he so richly deserves. (Also -- on behalf of all those of us not named John Smith -- orchids and roses to Aaron for keeping his distinctive surname, and not taking some whitebread stage name on the grounds that it's Easier To Spell or Easier To Pronounce.)
I don't know a thing about this young man, except for the fact that he's a very talented musical performer; but, for some reason, he's someone that I'd really like to know. There's something about him that speaks of a fine soul within.
This is Aaron Tveit. Before the pandemic he was starring as Christian in Moulin rouge. But he’s also played as Bobby in Company in regional productions before.
He was also in Grease: live! he played Danny Zuko. I'm going down as much of a Aaron Tveit wormhole as i can. this man is perfectly talented and needs to be cast as a Disney prince ASAP.
It takes me like, three hours to forget how hard the songs in Company hit and then something like this comes along and I'm tryna hide from my computer screen. holy shit.
Not only a super talented voice, he sings with such passion that’s beyond any imagination. He was SO great in the Hallmark movie the Royal Holiday. His songs sure keeps us going through this difficult period when so many lives have been impacted. 😍👍
I only discovered the fact of this wonderful man's existence a few months ago. Since then, I've been devouring every bit of his performance on the Internet that I can find; and, needless to say, I was delighted to hear that he won the Tony Award for "Moulin Rouge".
Athlete, mechanic and Engineer. A little like Sondheim himself. Jesus, staggering Talent. The sounds he makes. the notes he holds, his timing all well honed and rock solid. Have been checking out Sondheim since he died and stumbling across the few singers who can really handle and interpret him,. Stay healthy Aaron.
I just can't stop myself for searching any video where Aaron sing. His voice is MAGICAL. Just make want to hear again and again and again. Any kind of song. Always wanna cry or smile the whole time he's singing.
I saw the production of Company he was in at Barrington Stage Company a few years ago. At the performance I saw, I saw Sondheim coming out of the restroom while I was in line.
That's amazing!! I really wish I had seen that performance; Aaron Tveit in Company is just about the closest thing I can imagine to heaven on earth. As is seeing Sondheim coming out of a bathroom!! lol lucky you
His voice and presence is so beautiful. This is the most heartfelt rendition of MMAL I’ve ever heard. So glad that you’re recuperating and well, Aaron. 💪👍🙏
Wow! so moving and authentic with so many emotions conveyed! I screened it in class and students loved it. I'm looking up what Aaron is doing now! Bravo!
Bloddy amazing x still one of my favourite singer s and performers x xx the voice that will never be matched ❤❤❤ made my love for music so pasinate x grow up with you xx best voice eeeeeeevvvvvvveeeeeeerrrrrr x
Imagine living in this apartment building and hearing Aaron Tveit through your walls.
Imagine living with Aaron Tveit
Write a fanfic. 😂 I'd read it.

then there’s me who’s completely healthy but sounds like a dying cat 24/7
@@th3m00nstone JAJAJA THAT'S me
FYI I'm pretty sure his symptoms were just the same as having a cold. He was probably absolutely fine at the moment of filming this. :)
@@sofiasanchez7054 maybe you guys just need lessons?
Ikr?
At that moment, all the Broadway community said: "I do."
Can he marry me a lot?
Rianna Lynne my sentiments exactly!
haha hilarious! yea i want to marry him a lot too. So cute and talented.
First thought that popped into my mind.
Same please
I'd love him just right lol
A proposal I’m willing to accept.
Step aside, honey. LOL.

Still watching 4 years later!!! 2024 ❤
3 months of re-watching this full-screen pretending that Aaron called me on Zoom just to sing this for me
Underrated comment!!!
this is literally exactly what i was doing oops
That was SO thoughtful of him! :)
He’s showing the smallest signs of age and i’m HERE. FOR. IT.
Aging line a fine wine!!
Yeah! I mean he's had those lines around his mouth since he was twenty-five - that's just how his face works. He looks great still.
Lily 1664 that often happens to musical theater peeps cause u know singing, expressions, etc.
He's one month older than me. I always looked 25 since the mid-2010s. I guess I need to look at myself again if age caught up with me already.
@@londonunderground790 I need to go wine tasting

Can we just give him a tony award for this?
OHHHH BEAUTIFUL HINDSIGHT ;-)
@@ajmalaika1287 I mean I was kinda right 😅
Good news
@@thecarnegiedeli yes 🥳
His expression when he sang the "make a few demands I'm able to fulfill" Good Lord! ... now that's why I'll be single forever
Damn you 2020 for making this man wait for his Tony Award.
Right?
Well now its pretty much his.
ooooh
This is so VULNERABLE I live for his version
Those tears, man. The lethality of him singing it directly into the camera such that all our breaths are taken away aside, he is an outstanding actor.
the first time I watched this I had to pause the stream of the birthday celebration and take the dog for a walk because I was so overwhelmed by this man singing directly into the camera
His voice is simply perfect for this song.
2:41 The way this song softens is so touching 🥺

that eye contact- it’s like he’s asking me 🥺
The amount of times I’ve watched this...
I mean I’m not ashamed, I get butterflies every time
People who hit the dislike button were probably crying over how perfect he is and missed the like!
What dislikes? There aren’t any - exactly as it should be! 😉😉😉
That hairline is healthier then my relationship with myself
UGH. HE'S SO GOOD AND MAKES IT LOOK SO EASY.
This man is a Tony Award winner now and I feel so proud of him.
GUYS AARON TVEIT IS GONNA BE A PRINCE IN A HALLMARK MOVIE! HES GONNA BE A FREAKING PRINCE!! It’s called a royal holiday
This made me forget whatever I was gonna do next
Tveit has said he was relieved when he did this that his voice was okay after having COVID.

Just discovered this on UA-cam, cannot imagine anyone singing this better. One of Sondheim's greatest songs, hands down.
HIS MIX IS SO PURE AND CLEAR
The dislike is obviously someone who just couldn’t handle the talent

But he’s also played as Bobby in Company in regional productions before.
when he was younger he also originated roles in next to normal and catch me if you can on broadway!
He's also pretty famous for playing Enjolras in the Les Miserables movie

he has set the standard too high for a proposal at this point
The best performance of that song I've ever heard.

His perfect singing voice aside, just for a second, Aaron is one of those guys who gets finer the older he gets!
Could listen to him forever, totally not crying right now...
I haven't been married for 44 years, but watching and listening to this always makes me smile and still...wish...
I’ve been lucky enough to see Aaron play Bobby in Company and he was amazing!
I'm not even into guys but this man's voice makes me melt.
This is so magnificent. I love it and can't stop watching.
I absolutely LOVED this performance-it was the highlight of the special. Such a beautiful voice, used so well!
i come back to this video a lot. it's my comfort video and every time I feel down i watch it
i just can't stop watching this performance. I hum it all day.
So glad he's on the mend. Missing everyone's voices.

A beautiful interpretation! I hung on every word.
I loved Aaron singing this heartfelt, heartbreaking song. You are a gem. I can hardly wait to see you again in "Moulin Rouge." Take are and stay safe.
Thought he’d never ask ❤️ I’m ready too 🥰
This is the best acted interpretation of "Marry Me a Little" that I've ever seen.
If they ever revive Company, he's the obvious choice to star. Hope it happens someday!
This is the main reason I’m upset the revival was a gender swap... I just want him as Bobby on Broadway, please
He has starred as Bobby in a regional production before. For those who don’t know. I don’t believe there’s any bootlegs out there though.
PianoDisneygal10 oh, I know... but I definitely need a full on Broadway revival with him! That’s all I need in life!
I love Raúl Esparza's a lot but this one is just ❤
