saw your video made one the same day absolutely loved the way you teach. I have been crocheting about 55 yrs and your video taught me how I was doing a picot stitch wrong. I could never understand why they didn't look like they should. THANK YOU!!!!
hello Lisa, Thank You so much for stopping my crochet videos, I am so happy you were able to learn how to do the picot stitch, please watch for all my future videos. Happy crocheting.
Thank you, Creative Grandma. I've finally decided on this stitch to make kitchen accessories out of the cotton yarns I've purchased (a lot - LOL)! I love your tutorials and your craftsmanship. Perfect!
I've been crocheting for almost 50 years. Im self taught, so I watch many tutorials on how to do different patterns ( usually a tutorials for beginners). Out of all the tutorials for beginners that I've watches over the years, I have to say that your tutorial is the best I've ever seen!!! Most tutorials are done by experienced crocheters that don't realize how fast they go through their pattern instructions!!! Yours are the very best that I've seen!! You understand that a beginner can not keep up with the speed of an experienced chrocheter. You're videos are at a truely "beginners speed" and I appreciate this very much!!! 🥰 Thank you very much! I'm a new subscriber to your tutorials. 😁
Decided to make a number of dishcloths to give as sets for the gals in the family, based on their kitchen colors. Just watched this video. Rewound and started it while watching. Love it. Made the first in a beautiful Sage. Perfect for my daughter-in-law, so making more for her. Taupe, Ecru & a Variegated that incorporates all 3 Colors. Love it. When these done, have 5 more sets to make. And for very special friends who love all things Disney, a set in Red, Black, Yellow & White. THANK YOU Glenda for inspiring me. ♥️💛🖤 🌸🌸🌸🖤💛♥️ Thank You Glenda.
I came back to watch this again! I love this! You are my favorite when it comes to learning! You are so patient and I have learned so much from you! ♥ I am making these for Christmas for the ladies in my family! I better get going! Thank you for teaching all of us!
Thank you, Glenda, for these videos I'm an experienced crocheter, but I teach, and so I've learnt so much from your videos. You are so patient, showing and explaining the same stitches over and over again. The old saying is true, that we never know how far-reaching our actions may be. I love the yarn you used. It reminds me, when it's worked, of my favourite time of year, when the leaves are turning. I'm going to be in the lookout for it. Again, thank you.
Thank You Carol that means a lot to me, since I know some of the more experience crochets see me repeat myself over and over, but if you new it is nice to see repeat a few times. I was a little worried I repeat myself to much, so was happy to see your email. Thank You so much for your support of my video, it is much appreciated.
I have watched several tutorials and I loved yours. I could see the stitches you were pointing to and you were very clear in your instructions! Thanks so much! Looking forward to more videos!
I have just learned this stitch recently but it didn’t have the border.. I am so glad to have found your video.. I love the way you teach. It is so easy to follow.. this is the first time I’ve seen this pattern in variegated colors.. it’s so pretty like that.. now I’m gonna try your knobby border.. thank you so much.. I love it..
My first time visit to your video teaching me how to. I've always made afghans but I'm expanding out my learning. You have some amazing videos here. I hope to learn a few new projects from you. Thank you for your teaching
Just experimented and made this. I love love love that I just found ya.. you instruct so clearly and love the shots of exactly where we need to go... ty!!!🥰🥰🥰
Great Pattern 😍 Thanks for sharing and your time. when I crochet across the foundation chain I crochet in the back bump. This makes a nice edge especially if I need to crochet around my project. 💖👍😊
Hi I want to say thank you for your videos they have helped me in learning how to crochet. Back in October or 2016 I decided I wanted to learn how to any I found your videos and have used them often to make different things. I have tried this video and it was very easy to follow and I have made it. Again I want to thank you
I am just learning.. And I have to tell you. I LOVE LOVE LOVE YOUR VIDEOS.. They are close up, easy to follow. And your very good at explaining. Please do more. I haven't check to see what all videos you have, but I will. If you don't have one for a mess bun and /or beanie please think about doing one.. I look forward to watching your videos.. YOU HAVE JUST MADE THIS KANSAS GIRL VERY HAPPY, I COULD CRY.
I think your going to make me start to cry with all your kind words. I am just getting started making videos my grandson is helping me do them. I am so happy you like my video. Believe it or not I did not know what a mess bun was so I had to look it up, I guess I am behind the time. I will see what I can do for a future video. Thanks again
I love them. I need a Couple of gifts for a couple different people and I’m making them to give as gifts. I’m also going to make a lot of them to sell and I’m glad you answered that other woman about how much you sell them for.
I love this pattern! My grand daughter is getting married on May 5 and she wants me to make her some dish cloths. I'd like to use this pattern. Thank you.
Deffinately my next dishcloth. I have a favorite dishcloth pattern Ifollow, basically a hdc chain working in front and back loops alternatingly, it makes a wonderful dishcloth. Ive been looking for another one that would be just as awesome and I believe I just found it thank you for the pattern
Hello Francine, The instructions are at the end of the video, you can use the pause button to write them down or you can message me your email address and I will be happy to send the instructions to you. Thanks for watching my videos.
I just finished watching your Knobby Dish Cloth video. You are just as GOOD as bethintx1. You zoom in & explain just at the right speed. Love your work. I'm picky about videos & yours is so awesome. Thank you for sharing. Please reply about if I can get the written pattern to KNIT this dish cloth. Thank you.
I recently found your channel and love your videos! Would you be able to make a video on how to keep tension of the yarn while your working? My work tends to come out loose even when I’m trying my hardest to keep it tight.
Good Morning Grandma! ... I am in love with this pattern😍. I have decided to make a set of 3 dishcloths for Christmas presents for members of the family. It is amazing how different colors work up and make the pattern look so different!... I would like to show you my dishcloths that I made so far. How can I post these photos for you to see?... May God continue to bless your talented mind and hands. Much Love Peace and Blessings to you 😇
Those are very nice dish clothes. Just recently decided to try making them used a cotton yarn. I was wonder how an acrylic yarn or a polyester yarn would work for dish clothes?
Hi Gram-ma, i am Anthony's wife Alice. I just wanted to say I like you video. So i had to subscribed to your family of followers. I don't have a google acc, so I use my husband.
Hello Alice, if you want to send me a friend request on face book to connect, you will see everytime I post a new video or free pattern through facebook. I can also join you to our New crochet group Creative Grandma as well so you can see so much more crochet items and posts. Just match my face with the right Glenda Winkleman. I tried to find you but was unable.
Hi again. Just finished watching this video again. Even though I have been crocheting for about 13 years, I gave it a break for a while. I bought some of the yarns you show here, nice. I'll see how they work after washed.dried. I watched how you closed at very end, now that's a sl(slip stitch). At the start of the knobbys when you say to go through all 3 stitches, that's a HDC(half double crochet). This project is GRREAT. I'm on 2nd knobby dish cloth. Where can I find how to knit this?
This is a super cute dishcloth! I like the texture this stitch gives. I've only used the 100% cotton, for kitchen items in the past. But, I will be trying this type of yarn you are using here. My dishcloths do usually fade pretty quickly, and a little stretch would be nice too. Thank you for sharing
I found the best way to know where all the local craft shows and fairs are, is by going to a craft show and ask the people set up, most of the time you have the hard core crafters who set up all the time at all the shows, who know where every show is going to be for the year. So stop by the next craft show you see and start asking the people who are set up selling, I am sure you will get a list of several future shows and where they will be, most will know who to contact as well. Even if you only get the info on one upcoming show, do not get discouraged as that one future show will get you more leads for other shows. Good luck!! Easter is coming up and there is sure to be alot of shows coming up. Also look in your local paper as sometimes they advertise for crafters.
Great video. I'm a crocheter and found your explanations easy to follow, however it cuts at the end, do I'm not sure if you tell us where to obtain a print pattern. Could you please tell me where to find it? Thank You.
I love all your videos. Could you email me this instruction sheet as I can't seem to print it. There are lots of ideas out there but your are the most informative and easy to follow of all that I've seen, thank you for sharing them with us all.
Pattern for the knobby dishcloth is at the end of every video as part of the video, you can also email me at DESIGNR22@aol.com and I will be happy to send you a copy of the instructions.
Where can I find knitting written pattern for this wash cloth? My friend only knits. I will do the crochet. The wrapper does say to use size 8 needles. Thanks so much.
Did you know that the yarn on cones is a bit thinner than the small skeins? Maybe because the yarn was stretched while being placed on the cones? I'm not sure, but a friend told me about it & I checked them & she was right. So when I finished making washcloths & di notice the difference, the small balls felt thicker on yarn than the cone yarn oh wash cloths. Just thought I'd let you know. I will try the Home Premier small skeins as you recommended. Thanks.
Creative Grandma Thanks so much!!!! Did you write for Annie's Attic etc? I recall seeing your name other than your own publications. Love your patterns. 👍
Yes I do leaflets and patterns for annies attic as well as for Leisure Arts publications, I have a new set of 12 dishcloths coming out this fall through Annies attic so watch for it.
I'm somehow confused, at the end of the 1st rows, so the 2 lasts stitches on 1st few rows that you show only part of, does one single stitches on last 2 stitches to the left end corner like you did at beginning of the rows? It would be nice to see you finish at least 2 complete rows. Please explain. How often do you reply to comments here? Been checking.
Hi...I was thinking of selling washcloths at a Farmers Market...can I ask if you sell them individually and how much you sell them for? Very descriptive video....I really like how you describe how you do the sides and get so close up with the camera!
Hello Robyn, If I can get the cotton yarn at 50% with a coupon at AC Moore's then I sell them for 1.50 each I usually sell lower then other sellers. Hello Janice, I think I did forget to say the hook size, I used Premier cotton yarn and a size I-9 crochet hook. Instructions are at the end of the video, or I can send you a hard copy if you send me your email address to DESIGNR22@aol.com
Creative Grandma including a brief written pattern in the vid description would help people who know how to crochet but just want to look back to refresh their memory. I sat this down last night and had to watch to get the stitches you used.
Hi I am having difficulty keeping up with video, can you email me the direction or turn me to direction where i can get hard copy? Thank you I love this pattern.
Hello Donna, Every other row will have 2 sc on the ends then the other row will have 1 sc and 1dc at the beg and last 2 sts. If it is easier I can send you a written pattern if you are unable to get them at the end of the video, not sure if you can print off the video or not. My email address is DESIGNR22@aol.com just let me know what pattern you are requesting so I remember. happy crocheting.

I have the same yarn that you are working with, but in this video your yarn looks much thicker? and what size needle are you using?
Thank You!
I enjoy your video, the only problem is you didn't tell what size hook to use. I'm just going to use a 5mm.
Have you made any thing like a wash cloth scrubby to use in the shower with handles?
Where can I find knitting written pattern for this wash cloth? My friend only knits. I will do the crochet. The wrapper does say to use size 8 needles. Thanks so much.

Hi Mrs. Winkleman Is one (2.1 oz ball) enough to make a dishcloth? Tnx😊
Hello Anita, yes i 2.1 oz is enough to make a dishcloth. Have fun crocheting.
Creative Grandma
Thanks so much!!!!
I am having lots of trouble making the washcloths knobby with a dc it i can with a treble crochet. Am I doing something wrong??
Hi! I was wondering if this would be the same for left handers?
What size hook are you using?
I watch all your videos, and I really want to do a fair to sale my crochet items, could you help me on what prices to put on different items
😊 👌👍🏼
Can I also use this border for the no border dish towel and dish cloth as well?
Hi...I was thinking of selling washcloths at a Farmers Market...can I ask if you sell them individually and how much you sell them for? Very descriptive video....I really like how you describe how you do the sides and get so close up with the camera!
Hello Robyn, If I can get the cotton yarn at 50% with a coupon at AC Moore's then I sell them for 1.50 each I usually sell lower then other sellers. I also see them for 2.00 and 2.50 The more you pay for the yarn the more you have to charge. It is better to buy the larger cones at wal-mart or ac moore. Thank You for the words regarding the video, my grandson is doing all the video for me to help me get started on youtube. Please check out my other youtube videos and subscribe to my channel. I have other ideas for the craft shows on there as well. Happy crocheting!!!

Wow, $1.50! Seems very reasonable! How quickly can you make each dishcloth?
hello Melnie, It depends on your skill of how fast you can make a dishcloth, I can make them in under an hour. have fun crocheting and good luck selling your dishcloths. They do sell very well.
How many dish clothes can you get out of the large cone?
🤗🤗🤗
The best way
I have never used a bamboo crochet hook before. I would like to win this kit because I am in search of the right hook.
What size hook are you using
I got that same large cone at walmart the brand name is peaches and cream for $7.98
Beginning crochet
Did I miss where you told us the hook size? It probably tells us the size on the yarn but is that what you used? Thankyou😀
Hello Janice, I think I did forget to say the hook size, I used Premier cotton yarn and a size I-9 crochet hook. Instructions are at the end of the video, or I can send you a hard copy if you send me your email address to DESIGNR22@aol.com
The wrap on yarns suggest hook size, I don't like using H hook cause it feels a tiny tight. I really like the size 5.5 I hook, feels so much better
@@CreativeGrandma I thought you said J in the beginning.
I love this dishcloth how do I get the pattern for this?
please send me a pattern request to DESIGNR22@aol.com make sure you tell me which pattern you are requested.
May I request a pattern to same email?
Creative Grandma including a brief written pattern in the vid description would help people who know how to crochet but just want to look back to refresh their memory. I sat this down last night and had to watch to get the stitches you used.
How much do you sell these for?
Does anyone know what size hook she is using. Thank you
I still cannot get the knack of knowing what the sc and the dc look like. Yes... the dc is bigger, but I still have such a hard time.
I TRULY LOVE the knobs!!!!! THANKS, Glenda... for yet, another wonderful pattern.
Hi I am having difficulty keeping up with video, can you email me the direction or turn me to direction where i can get hard copy? Thank you I love this pattern.
Judy D: Hello, The written pattern is at the end of the video.
What size hook is she using
Do you have 2 single crochets on each end?
Hello Donna, Every other row will have 2 sc on the ends then the other row will have 1 sc and 1dc at the beg and last 2 sts. If it is easier I can send you a written pattern if you are unable to get them at the end of the video, not sure if you can print off the video or not. My email address is DESIGNR22@aol.com just let me know what pattern you are requesting so I remember. happy crocheting.
And what size hook are you using??
size I -9 hook
What is the finished measurement of the dish cloth?
is there anywhere i can get the written instructions? im a new crochet and very slow.
Monica LarsenDavis
