Sunmi never fails I swear. The first time I heard the song and watched the MV, the visuals never disappoint. The music, catchy enough. It's the kind to listen to at night. The performance is next level. Sunmi definitely found the balance in terms of weight. (She looks healthier and I hope she really is.) Look at the dance. Look at the details like having the female dancers at the first chorus then the male dancers at the next. Look at the stunts! Seriously. Very entertaining to watch. I then searched for the english translation and the song just had another layer to it. Definitely a song for the night. A song of escape and want. It gives me a trippy kind of feel. Like getting high on just the moment. I love it. (The literal translation I found is "Purple Night". Very fitting.)
i have a theory, When she´s holding hands with Cha Hyunseung it simbolizes a clock. The time is passing so fast, but when it´s 7 o´clock (the purple night=pprappippam) it stays and it's more melodic and armonic. It´s just a theory, i have a whole theory about the song, MV and coreo, but i´m still thinkin about it - Sorry for my bad english!
