papa ko retired field soldier. mas mahirap noon kc walang cellphone, sulat lang ang communication. na kukwento nga niya kapag mag lakad sila sa bundok, (operation) ibig niyang sabihin. sobrang hirap kc kulang yung supply ng pagkain. ang masaklap kapag inabot ng isang linngo yung operation nila, wala ng kain yun puro nlng tubig maswerte na daw kapag may madadaanan nga prutas kc solve yung gutom, may pantawid kahit papano. walang tulugan kc baka matiktikan ng rebelde. naalala ko pa nga noong bata pa ako, kapag dumadating siya sobrang iyak ko pero mas grabe yong iyak ko kapag ka umaalis na siya kc kelangan na mag report sa battalion. di talaga biro ang buhay ng isang sundalo. I am an aspiring filmmaker and i hope i or any filmmaker will make a movie regarding this.

Filmmaker here. Don't get your hopes up. The amount of budget and time that would be needed to produce a war film, no less a war film that takes place in an urban environment, would be damn near impossible by Philippine standards. Unless we outsource VFX, SFX and prod design to more capable prod companies which quite frankly would cost A LOT, i highly doubt we will ever see Filipino war-films in the same magnitude as Saving Private Ryan or Black Hawk Down. Best we can get are those "Magpakailanman" or "MMK" reenactment types.
