I really hoped that when the battle was launched I would still be under the mat I was begging to still be under the map when the battle bus launched.

Ok okay I thought I was the only one going crazy here because before the battle bus launched I was under the Main
map away from the spawn Island

I was able to swim around though. I got curious and thought maybe I can pick up some loot from that Island before the battle bus launches. Nope not enough time
