There really needs to be more content like this, just going over specifics with analyzing and showcasing, being professional as well even, this is only something I typically see in Tripple-A video game content creators, thanks for making this video, I enjoyed listening.
Let me give my own thoughts. Air dash is extremely useful since gaps are almost always there in higher intensities, and due to lots of lava and not much platform, crossing is invaluable. Here is where it gets complicated when we combine with skills. There is actually a trick you can do with thrown skills to gain extra height if you throw it with the right timing, which does give airdash vertical lift, making it better with that ragdoll trick too, but it benefits double jump more, as you can either boost your second jump drastically, or even better, reset the double jump cooldown, which makes you able to jump 4 times! Then again, movement skills can synergize with both, so im not going to say much else. Pick what you prefer, but i honestly have a great history of double jump
Personally I have prefer air dash as it's dash covers a quarter of the map, allowing you to dodge bombs with ease. Although when with double jump you can use 2 air dashes so I usually use both. In addition the controls are very easy, o usually wall hop if I want good vertical mobility.
People with 2 perk spots: how about both?
If you have double perks, the both of these combined are OP, if u combine the 2, you can airdash TWICE with no cool down or nothing which is INSANE, you can even troll if u combine this combo with the skill, "force field" by tripping nukes while someone is near it killing them, good times lol

2:35 im pretty sure im one of the first ones to know about this since although i play alot of sbs i have not seen anybody use this but i have not spreaded it cause im lazy lol i learned this like 7 months ago or somewhere near that
i was messing around with tornado mine when i discovered it
but i think most people learned that pontential once air dash had this small vertical boost
i have had this question in my head for so long cause of one thing, arent they kinda the same thing? they both need a second jump to work, thye both provide the same amount of reliable mobility, and they are mostly nearly the same.

ik about the double air dash synergy, but i dont like it much, its hard to go vertically without acting rashly often

I will call The AirDash Ragdoll technique (trademarked by 9Voltage) AirDive From Now on. Also you can air dash twice by using the second perk slot and put double jump in there.

i made a pretty weird discovery from an video so hes just air dashing with double jump to get double air dash until suddenly he does a triple air dash
i tried figuring out what happened and it clicked
when on mobile when you run into things you jump which applies for wals so he manually jumped and air dashed in the walll with perfect percision and did the normal double air dash
so mobile airdash can be really op sadly its harder for pc players as in almost never you would purposely want a autojump and get it than not expecting a auto jump
I prefer the double jump honestly because air dash can be hard to control, especially on mobile (sadly my main platform) and often got me to a plethora of unnecessary deaths. Double jump also gives you better coin farming, which is good because I have the coin heal skill.

cocclusion: get either wings. the vertical mobility of double jump with horizontal mobility of air dash but x5. who cares about losing 10 or 20 health when heal exists
