I bought this as a gift for my friend ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxcZqgZ8Ynkiz5n_LxIWRlAicuzmz5kCHG who is just starting out in the world of wood work. He loves it!! There is a great section on different wood and what to use for what kind of job and a similar section for tools as well. The projects in it are things you probably would have a go at with clear instructions, pictures, videos and diagrams throughout. Great for a beginner/amateur wood worker.
Another GREAT "Young Je" creation! You continue to inspire me with your new creative ideas. The subtle contouring of the outside of the box just adds a very unique characteristic to the box. I also like your solution for the hinge. It precludes purchasing the $50 Brusso hinges which allows the 95% opening. Thanks for sharing this, Young! Keep them coming.
Your work is that of a master. You truly understand wood and how to use your tools. Thanks for the videos, they mean so much to us that come behind you. Mark
I'm at the point where I've started selling my boxes so I've been watching box building videos for about 3 months and not only is yours the most beautiful jewelry box your skill level is above all ! Gonna save this video and will watch it many times in the future , hats off to you!
You know I was watching you bring life to this beautiful work of art and then you took an angle grinder to it I was screaming "WHAT IN GOD'S NAME IS THIS MAN DOING" but as I continued to watch I started to see the box in a new light, and for that I thank you and will continue to watch. It's one thing to be a woodworker and make nice things, but only a master can produce a work of art.
Dear Young Je , How come you could be so much patient during all times to complete this great & wonderful jewelry box? Very precise workmanship and very clean finishing. * hats off to you. congratulations *
I'm not being rude but given some training and equipment most of us could knock up a box, but your vision is exceptional, I wouldn't have seen the potential in that piece of wood lying outside and I most certainly wouldn't have dared take a wheel to what I would have considered a finished box. Brilliant, I salute your skill and vision.
Beautiful box. Gave me many ideas for making a cigar humidor. I am not sure which videos I like more, tool/jig making or project. I guess I like them both. Hahaha
well...as we say in french : "on n'est pas maître en apprenant." Meaning, you're no master while learning. If you don't try, you won't make mistakes, but you won't learn ^^ This guy must've screwed up a lot in his early days ^^
Всё выполнено просто замечательно. У Мастера прослеживается своя монера выполнения работ. Спасибо большое. Все работы доставляют огромное удовольствие.
Muy Bonitos, Felicitaciones... Trataré De Hacer 2 Para Mi....Tengo Herramientas, Pero De Esto No Se Como Sé Hace, Pero Aprendemos Gracias A Usted...Abrazos Desde COLOMBIA.........
Stunning box. I'm 90% sure the inlay timber is spalted elm, at least it is a perfect match for the elm I'm working with. It has a very distinctive smell to it when you work it.
All very nice, some great jigs. One suggestion, you have a nice drum sander, if you do the inlays before the box assembly, then run them through the drum sander, it will save a lot of time and work. I enjoyed watching you work!
I still can't decide what I like more; The precision or the squeeze out because of the precision. In any case they run a close tie with the sheer creativity of what you do. :-)
Very attractive box. It was starting to look feasible for me until he took out the grinder and started carving! :( Plus I wish my workspace was as tidy - but that's on me!
Alan S I think they look almost like a vertically challenged gentleman’s Johnson and Jacobs’s great video as always I’d doff my cap if I were wearing one sir.
The angle grinder ‘sculpting’ has given this piece a truly unique look. Very distinctive. We look forward to seeing all your very creative projects. Because your hands are priceless and irreplaceable... please try to use your crosscut sled next time you need to make a crosscut on a narrow board (timestamp 3:45...). Beautiful workmanship! 😄👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Seriously? Just came in from woodworking on a Saturday. Then I see this. Think I’ll now use my project for heat to cook a steak. Absolutely amazing. And kicker is I think you used your own handmade planes. You are a true craftsman.
You need to promise your fans that you continue making these terrific videos. Don’t become a UA-cam “rock star” and only produce shop update or vlog videos. I had unsubscribed from many very talented presenters because they forgot thei humble roots and decided to only good content when you pay them. Love your stuff!
I'm a Lapidary artist but like your wood Projects I'd like to combine the aesthetic of both. I neglected to mention your unique jigs you use very inventive. Greetings from Florida USA 🇺🇲
Beautiful. How can anybody put a thumbs down to such thoughtful craftsmanship? Young Je I liked your cleaning as you go too!

Mr. Je, you are a woodworker an engineer and most of all an ARTIST. Please keep posting these exciting videos.
Your work is that of a master. You truly understand wood and how to use your tools. Thanks for the videos, they mean so much to us that come behind you. Mark
EXCELLENT WORK
What a beautiful jewelry box. You are a true craftsman.
Thanks for videoing your process and sharing it with everyone.

All I can say is “Beautiful!” It was a pleasure watching a fine craftsman!
Mind - blown... Calling that piece of art a "box" is a crime. **bows**
Another great 'Andy' box. Stepping it up a notch... sweet!
Man, I don’t care what plans you use; your workmanship is top notch. That came out beautiful!
Hi..REALLY LIKE THE WAY YOU HAVE MADE THE BOX ITS A REAL BEAUTY...WATCHING YOU FROM AUSTRALIA...DAVID..
Beautiful box !! Complete attention to every detail. Loved watching your video.
absolutely comprehensive and STUNNING!
You know I was watching you bring life to this beautiful work of art and then you took an angle grinder to it I was screaming "WHAT IN GOD'S NAME IS THIS MAN DOING" but as I continued to watch I started to see the box in a new light, and for that I thank you and will continue to watch. i still think it wood be better if you skipped yhe grider job and shuld have used wood for the bottom as well not plywood
i felt the same way what is he doing, ruining it with that angle grinder, but in the end a work of art!
Dear Young Je , How come you could be so much patient during all times to complete this great & wonderful jewelry box? Very precise workmanship and very clean finishing. * hats off to you. congratulations *
Nice Piece. Very Pretty. For a moment I thought you were ruining it with the grinder but the sculpted texture turned out excellent! I'm impressed!
I'm not being rude but given some training and equipment most of us could knock up a box, but your vision is exceptional,

You are wrong, and an idiot if you think anyone could "knock up a box"
This would have to be one of the most beautiful boxes I have seen made on UA-cam. Fantastic work.
That is one beautiful box! Exquisite craftsmanship and delicate artistry! Thank you.
Just stunning!
Beautiful box. Gave me many ideas for making a cigar humidor. I am not sure which videos I like more, tool/jig making or project. I guess I like them both. Hahaha
Your work continues to inspire me. Such a beautiful piece, but taking the sanding disc to the nice square box would terrify me :)
My eyes watered and I started to tremble !
I agree with that, but it turned out beautifully!

When you took the grinding wheel to that box, I was sure you were ruining it, LOL It really turned out spectacular! Great craftsmanship.
Lost me when you took that grinder to that beautiful box!
I could sit and watch you work all day, because I always learn something and watching a master craftsman is always a thing of beauty
Very good job...
“Beautiful!” It was a pleasure watching, I would be proud to own this. :)
Fabulous piece! Masterful craftsmanship.
First video I have had the pleasure of watching of yours! More than a craftsmen, you're an artist! Bravo!

You are so good. Not long after I make boxes this beautiful, the alarm goes off.
I can't believe you actually trimmed the ends of all those pieces one at a time.
Wow, everything I want to do with a box and more! Will be referring back to your master crafting. Thanks for this!
All very nice, some great jigs. One suggestion, you have a nice drum sander, if you do the inlays before the box assembly, then run them through the drum sander, it will save a lot of time and work. I enjoyed watching you work!

Absolutely amazing craftsmanship. More respect to the fact that you use the tools you built (most of them anyways) to make this.
Wow!
Absolutely fantastic!!!
Beautiful box
Wow! I did not think it was going to turn out as nice as it did when I seen him using an angle grinder on it. Good job, it is beautiful.
After reading the comments, I can add nothing better. The box is beautiful and your talent is exceptional.
Not only was he smart by using jigs which he built himself, he was also a very clean and tidy person - he vacuumed his worktables before he continued.
Fantastic work

By itself, making this box qualifies you as a master craftsman. Your artistry and your command of your tools is enviable.
Hello, very good job, beautiful jeweler .........
Супер изделие и супер мастер !
Внешний вид на любителя, работа по изготовлению хороша, необходима более детальная проработка во внешнем дизайне.
ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL👍 LOVE IT. Vinny 🇺🇸
