When I was in high school, my science fair project was a test of the 10 second rule. Turns out, it's not true, but also that pepperoni and other cured meats somehow end up with *less* bacteria after falling on the floor than before? I don't know if 16-year-old me did that experiment right 😅 Either way, yeah, I'd be eating the cheese that fell as a snack while I cooked with the rest.
My husband and I watch your videos together 5-second section 😂 He watches for entertainment despite him being a pro-cook and i watch for both keto/carnivore and entertainment so keep up the good work and the haters just need to better themselves you make our lives better for sure because the realism is refreshing always
Note to self: must not be eating or drinking while watching Dave. Got chocked from laughing. I just totally enjoy all ur channels but this one just cracks me up. Love ur heart. Keep up the good recipes and fabulously funny self. So entertaining 😂.
DAVE!! listen mister, it's YOUR FLOOR it doesn't matter if it hits the floor when you're the one eating it!😂😊 And post those videos cause I'm not on any diet.
Love that it's a carnivore recipe. I can't eat almond flour, so although I really enjoy watching you, I rarely make your recipes. This one is a go, for sure. (I wouldn't have thrown out that parmesan either)
I substitute Whey protein or Milk protein powder for his almond flour recipes and they work out fine! I made his pumpkin bread subbing those out and it was delicious.
I Love that you did a carnivore!! My husband and I do carnivore. We've been doing it for about 3 months. Lost 20 lbs so far. I already watch, but loved seeing this one!! Looks good!!
Absolutely! Bring those recipes on. If we can, we could always sub things out if needed to adjust for different diets. This recipe looks great to! You are a gem!
I've been doing mostly carnivore for about 9 months, lost 85 pounds. I would have bought a sugar free marinara to dip these in. I use a few little things sometimes to keep on track the rest of the time. Oh, and tomatoes are a fruit.
@ I do Alfredo too, but it is made of appropriate products. But I do love tomato based sauces, so I do occasionally incorporate them so that I can stay on track overall. It’s worked so far.
In a botanical sense, yes. In the culinary world, most classify it as a vegetable. PS- I can't hear "tomato is a fruit" without thinking of Demetrius from Stardew Valley.
@ I just meant, that in our bodies, it will act as a fruit. When the sugar from this hits the blood stream it will more than likely raise the blood sugar. And as someone trying to heal metabolic damage, I am very careful about that. I’m trying to mostly keep my blood sugar levels even.
@ Yes, and mostly that is what I use. But I do use a little tomato products, although sparingly, because it’s my favorite. I have metabolic damage so I’m trying to stay away from things that can raise my blood sugar very much.
Looks great! I bet it would be really good using Italian sausage instead of ground beef. Yum!!! I've seen and made a pizza crust made just of Italian sausage rolled out and cooked in a skillet, then put the pizza toppings on it and cook in the oven until hot. Ask AI! I always love your videos. Go ahead and post the regular videos. We can handle it! 😆
You're totally correct when you said it needs more filling. I made these this weekend and they are very tasty-like little meatloaf muffins-but they didn't taste like pizza at all. Maybe add more pepperoni and a sprinkle of Italian seasoning next time. Love your channel!
I was just thinking about watching you roll your pizza roll that if you chill it before you cut it then it might slice better. I think it might also help it if it's cold before you roll it; less likely for it to be sticky. Just me with a few helpful hints again. I'm thinking I might try this with some ground turkey meat.
Dave?!? You don’t have to worry about the cheese falling on the floor throughout the years it has fallen on my floor numerous times. I just either wash off the dust or wipe it off with a damp paper towel. But now I’m more careful even if my kitchen counter is small 😂😂😂 But I’ll add Marinara sauce to those Carnivore pizza rolls. They look very delicious and will make them but add Provolone cheese. Keep up the good work God bless you
Dave! It's your channel. Do what you want. Release the prepped videos. They're probably just as much fun as the others are! And By the way, fish out egg shell pieces with bigger egg shell pieces--works well.
Wow, these look amazing, going to have to try them! I enjoy your videos so much, Dave. I'm the same type of cook as you. "Eh, a little more pepperoni. And a little more, aaannnd a little more..." LOL! It makes life more fun, and you usually end up with something really good! ;)
I can't make nearly any foods that require meats, cheeses, or veggies as ingredients without snacking on them individually the entire time I'm cooking. I would have just been like, "Oh, look, there's extra pepperoni...and now it's in my mouth." I'm a munchie menace 😂
I'm new here. I love this and you introduced me to pork rind panko bread crumbs. Im envisioning Venison. BTW I would have rinsed that cheese and pat dry lol thank you
Hi Dave, thanks for your video. I’m going to try this recipe. BTW, you didn’t have to throw the cheese away just wipe it off or even rinse it with water if you want,
Flatten meat on parchment-lined pan. Refrigerate 30 minutes. Soften cream cheese before mixing in other ingredients. Spread filling evenly over 3/4 of the chilled meat. Roll from long side. Use paper to help guide the roll. Chill again if needed before slicing.
Those look good. I am a carnivore and always looking for good recipes. Btw, although spices are plants, many of us use them. So far, none of us have been kicked off the island.
I watch all sorts of recipes: vegan, international, regional, gourmet, vintage, Modernist Cuisine, keto, carnivore.... I just love cooking, post the beedios!
FINALLY!!! (Sorry for screaming) a recipe I can actually try! Sorry keto dieters but not only am I a carnivore dieter I’m also an herbivore dieter which means I’m human and not a dieter…well at times I’m an Atkins dieter.
I blitz pepperoni in blender in cold water and fat sticks to the inside of the blender, drain water out then fry it to make it abot crispy add to soups or pizza
I microwave pepperoni slices on a paper towel for 30 -45 seconds to crisp them up, and release some of the fat. It's good on pizza and in soups or even in cream cheese balls.
You should try Carnivore Dave It has saved my life. Reversed dibetes Fibromyalgia symptoms disapating daily Lost 8 in in my man waste. Thanks for the recipe
A word of advice, the pork rind "breadcrumbs" are a good breadcrumbs replacement, BUT feel through it with your fingers cause there are literally ROCKS of the pork rinds! No lie, they will break a tooth if you don't get them out of there! I use the same brand he's using. I get them in Walmart. But, I tried another brand from Amazon, I don't remember the brand, but they were better
Maybe next time when you flatten the meat, put the toppings on in layers. Pepperoni, mozzarella cheese, chopped bacon, feta cheese, and then roll it up. Looks good.
😆 you washed your kitchen floor 'Last Year' + the 5 second rule = If it doesn't kill you it makes you immune to everything ssooo what could possibly go wrong 😆
to make it easier i would nuke and soften the cream cheese and spread it on the beef, then sprinkle the mozzarella and pepperoni on the beef. Then make marinara dipping sauce, it would be keto but i wouldn't care. might make it for dinner tonight. thanks!
Short ways that are long ways skinnier.. just like cinnamon rolls or anything like that... Plus you can pop it in the freezer for just a little bit and it'll firm it up a little bit and make it easier to roll hun
I'm lazy & don't even bother w/ the sep. filling, rolling, cutting etc. Just chuck it all into a bowl, mix, use a cookie scoop to place on parchment paper. Then slightly flatten so they cook evenly (like chicken nugget thickness) & bake the same. Once in a while, I'll put like 1Tbsp (I know, not carnivore, but I get the cleanest one/Rao's usually) into the mix & it really changes the whole thing. :) I've also used the same mixture, left flattened like before you added toppings/rolled & baked that... THEN topped & back into the oven to melt... = pizza. Can sub. ground chicken, shredded chicken or even a 12 oz can of white meat chicken for the best 'carnivore' chicken nuggets OR chicken based pizza. :) Enjoy.
Different people have different ways they do carnivore. There are a fair number of folks that do seasonings, but some consider that "dirty carnivore". There's also a split on whether cheese is carnivore or not. Strict carnivore is meat, salt and water, but there's not much room for recipe variations in that. By the way, pepperoni has seasoning too so given you were using that I'd say Italian seasoning is fine. The only big no go would be sugar or starch (carb in general). As someone else mentioned, a lot of folks that do cheese avoid the pre-ahredded because it has cellulose or potato starch to keep it from sticking together.
You might try the dental floss trick to cut it. You slide it under it and crisscross it and pull do you not like you’re cutting with string. That might be a little easier.
Well you can dip it in a marinara sauce it would make it more ketovor and for those of us who are carnivore some of us do that we dip down into the ketovore every once in awhile.
If you rolled it and then put it in the freezer for 15 minutes, it would be much easier to slice without tearing instead. Then let to warm to room temp or cook an extra few minutes to overcome the chill. Your jokes are corny but they make me smile and chuckle.
There was a time when I would’ve scorned you for the cheese but that stopped the year after my daughter was born, it kinda came back after our daughter moved taking the parade of friends she had with her 😂
Awww Dave, no need to pretend with us! You know most of us would have picked that cheese right up off the floor and carried on with cooking, lol 😂
Next time!
Yup! Same! 😂
same
Yup…30 second rule 🤭

I don’t watch you for the type of diet you cook for I watch because you are entertaining. You get better each episode. I’m in the 5 second section.
Thanks so much
5 second rule follower here. Especially something hard like cheese!
@@scarpru yep, you can always wash or scrub something with no worry 😂

I loved your comment on we cleaned the floor last year!!!!
“I know we cleaned this floor last year” - 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 This is why we all love Dave!

You're really cool and fun
I love how humble and real you are first of all. Then I love your creativity with the foods you make.
Cooking with Dave is your channel and have fun with it! Post what you want. Not everyone here is Keto or Carnivore and yet, we all enjoy it.
We love you
DAVE!! listen mister, it's YOUR FLOOR it doesn't matter if it hits the floor when you're the one eating it!😂😊

I'm with the rinse the cheese off and pat dry group :) Yep meatloaf but sounds like a winner.
5 second rule applies and nice touch for honoring James Earl Jones.
I would LOVE for you to release your other recipe videos, not just keto or carnivore...and thank you for THIS video too!
Will do!!
I watch none Keto cooks. Then I convert it to Keto. Love the challenge.

5 second rule! Get that out of the garage! 😂 😝
Not anymore. It’s a 10 second rule, things are way too expensive!

An Alfredo sauce is more Carnivore or Ketovore!
@ I do Alfredo too, but it is made of appropriate products. But I do love tomato based sauces, so I do occasionally incorporate them so that I can stay on track overall. It’s worked so far.

Hope you enjoy
I might try this with a cottage cheese Flatbread
Enjoy!
I was thinking the same. Or even lowcarb tortillas/flatbread. My husband and I are "ketovore" so we can afford to use those here and there.
You're totally correct when you said it needs more filling. I made these this weekend and they are very tasty-like little meatloaf muffins-but they didn't taste like pizza at all. Maybe add more pepperoni and a sprinkle of Italian seasoning next time. Love your channel!

You’re welcome 😊
Great job ! You make cooking look so easy and fun. Can’t wait to try this recipe!

Yeah I'd have kept the cheese too. I'd still have added tomato sauce. More filling too.
Yummm!!! Cracked me up...is marinara sauce Carnivore? No, it's plant based. Lol...love your shit show, I mean cooking show.

I've been carnivore for almost a year. I'm definitely going to try this!
I love your videos! ❤ you are so real !
I would not have tossed that! Too expensive 😮
Just rinsed it off and dry with a paertowel.
Mmmm! Carnivore pizza rolls…. Yes! I would totally test this one.
Just rinse the cheese off and dry it with some paper towels

Love the recipe bro! I’m told that Tomato is actually considered a fruit not a vegetable, who would’a thought?!!?
i use these for a quick snack. you did great. we call it dirty carnivore if you use marinara and your italian seasoning, but thats ok. delishes stuff.
Hi Dave, UA-cam did show this to me and I do just carnivore. Nice to "meat" you.
Hi Dave...from California

Don't throw the cheese away. Blow on it, it's good! 🤪
RE: the macros for one serving is based on how many servings made with this recipe, please?
Please Dave tell me you didn't chuck that hunk of cheese 5 sec rule absolutely esp for expensive stuff ❤
i think wax paper would have worked better, and then fridge or freezer after you roll it so it cuts easier.... def gonna try it tho
You're freaking hilarious and definitely bougie. LOL 😛 😀 These look good. Thanks for sharing
You might try the dental floss trick to cut it. You slide it under it and crisscross it and pull do you not like you’re cutting with string. That might be a little easier.

First time here - YOUR LIGHT SABER SALT AND PEPPER DISPENSERS ARE FAAAAAAAAAAB 👏👏👏👏👏😅😅!!!
Pop it in the freezer for a few before trying to cut them and carnivore doesn’t matter on how much filling….. add more! It’s ALL good

Does Dave ever use his own food in the thumbnail?
❤️🍀
Don't throw it away just shred off the top, sides and bottom and use the rest!
Do you have a dog or pets, most love cheese. GOD BLESS
There was a time when I would’ve scorned you for the cheese but that stopped the year after my daughter was born, it kinda came back after our daughter moved taking the parade of friends she had with her 😂
Great recipe yummy .. to cut your roll easier use dental floss it can be used on anything like this were you need a clean cut ❤
Great tip!
