Excellent video, I loved that cabinet. You have a dream PC. Merry Christmas and a prosperous 2024 from Argentina. PS: Translated with Google translator, my sincere apologies if the translation was not understandable. You gained a new subscriber.
I'd be curious how that NCR chipset compares to the ARK Logic 1000 chipset card you showed in your other 486dx2-66 build video along with something like a Cirrus Logic 5428 for comparison to the results others have gotten using Phil's Benchmark suite. Another great video and what a sweet collection of early-mid 90's hardware you have to work with!
Nicely Done! I actually recently procured a CT2800 SB 16 Vibra card with an OPL3 chip on it. Though I am partial to Ensoniq cards due to my Pentium 233 having one in the late 90's but the CT2800 works great! I can't seem to get working with Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis however. Great build man, this is the perfect DOS gaming machine.
My first Kick-Butt PC was in the Early/Mid-90s (We're Poor & always behind on the times) was an AMD DX4-100 with 8 Meg Ram! That was a Killer Wolfenstein PC! New Sub! Dryden, Michgan, US! OH! I would Scour Flea-Markets & Yard Sales to find Old MotherBoards with as Much IO Built In as Possible, Consolidate
That 486 runs beautifully. Ahh Jazz Jackrabbit, the memories! Have you played the LBA/Twinsen series? Man I have fond memories of those. Commander Keen would be another good series for that build 👌
Another great vintage build. Still crazy you can find the vintage AT Cases (especially AT DeskTop) so much easier than I can in the States. I guess here in the US we prefer to scrap it instead of treat it with respect(granted not the few that do but the masses that just don't know or just don't care)it deserves. Thanks for the video upload.

Good video. Just, you should clean those components a little, especially the fan and the case (inside). Cheers, M

Sure does! Nah I haven't man, I'll check it out though. Oh I completely forgot about Keen hey, yeah that'll run great on this system.
Nice video and a great system ! I think I have a simmilar display in my collection - I use now with a 286/20...)

Thanks! I devote a lot of my time to finding this old stuff, it's very rare to find AT cases.
Great 486 build! Maybe squeeze a cdrom drive in there
Yeah I'm thinking of making a video where I do some upgrades to the system, maybe throw in a 4x Creative CD drive
Nice build!
Thanks!
