damn... thats a bold statement. Street League is one of the best things ever to happen to skateboarding. Not only does it make skateboarding seem more exceptable to society, but SL actually has some great skaters in it that never usually enter contests. The more coverage of skateboarding, the more sales on skateboards. The more sales on skateboards, the smaller amount of money you have to struggle with to get skateboards. I'm backing it 100%.
The song is called " california sunrise " by: Dirty Gold. and just to letcha know, if you look underneath the video on the righthand side under the view count, and right below the likes/dislikes bar it usually has the name of the song in the video :)
If you got offered a chance to make more money at doing something you love and help support your family in better ways you would be dumb to turn it down. All the skaters in Street League are amazing skaters and who cares if they do it in front of a crowd. It's cool that skateboarding is getting to be seen by a lot of people who probably never have seen it before.
if you had someone came to you like "yo kyle, we'll pay a few thousand dollars to come skate , you down? " you wouldn't be like " nah, i'm not tryna sell out."
Contest skating is simply "contest skating". Ben Fisher skates his style, his own way, and its sick as fuck. Others skate contest, land stuff every try, less style but are very good and that is also sick as fuck. All these people skate for the love of skating and that is what matters.
street league is for people that wanna make a living, just because you enter a contest it doesnt make you a sellout it means you don't wanna live on the streets
Lot of kids are gonna be running around with this song in their iPod doing mannies with highwaters. But fuck it, at least they're not another Nyjah clone.
yeah he sent a annonimus email to expidition saying that he is the best on the team and they should turn him pro so they backtracked the letter and they found out he is the one who sent it @skateballsWA
took the words right out of my mouth, their board control is insane and not to mention their quick feet and style
