Sweet deal.. I've been playing with rc for 20 pluses yrs. But never had a 1/4 scale. I and thinking about it. Just need to see how big it is down here in tx
@@johnsargeant2041 in the states I think you guys mostly run on asphalt with racing slicks from what I've seen but nothing compares to dirt going sideways!
There are a couple of different packages, chain driven like mine or diff, contact Black Knight RC in Queensland for pricing, 2nd hand would be very rare to find one.
@@integrated12345 thanks man these sprint cars are mind blowing amazing. I have a few brushless rcs lmt monster truck 1/8 scale arrma trucks, but this is a whole other level. Way cool brother!
What brand and how big is the engine? Is there a basic size that everyone runs kind of like a 360 or 410 like in a real sprint car?? Is there a minimum weight rule? How much does this car weigh?
I would really like to buy either a Losi 5ive or the Kraken 1/5 scale off road trophy truck in gas not electric. My main hold up besides coughing up around $1500-$1800 bucks is that searched and searched the web and I cannot find anywhere in Michigan that runs them. I haven't found any of the videos posted on You Tube that aren't even close to where I live. I have 19 acres and I have a perfect spot to build a track and I live far enough out in the sticks that noise will not be an issue. But building a track and buying the truck will be just like buying a pool table. You will play all by yourself for a couple - three months and it eventually loses its appeal. When I was 21 yrs old I bought a brand new Harley Davidson and rolled right off the showroom floor and I rode with my buddy that talked me into buying it for about 2 months. He fell on hard times and sold his Harley. Well had bought a 883 sportster that only had a solo seat on it so I couldn't throw anyone on the back and go for a ride. I rode the rest of the summer alone and each week I rode it less because I didn't have anyone to ride with. I sold it back to the dealership the next spring. I am afraid that the RC truck will get boring and end up on a shelf for most of the year. I don't know. I broke my crystal ball last month so I have to just guess now. LOL
@@richrinehart1083 very true, I'd get bored solo with RC, racing in a club definitely keeps you interested for the long haul, I've won 3 dirt mod club championships now and I've now moved onto the Quarterscale Sprintcars for a new challenge, setup is expensive but the engines are cheap to replace or rebuild, tyres last a long time too luckily. I wish you luck in your RC journey!
Nice job.
