$25 Massive Buffet Feast - Greater Seattle's Asian Seafood Dim Sum buffet
Вставка
- Опубліковано 27 вер 2024
- It's nice to be back home in Vancouver in the Pacific North West. And with Seattle being out neighbour city just a bit south of us, we decided t spend the day there. But as always, there's some good news and some bad news.
First, the bad news... we had to go shopping at the Seattle Premium Outlets.
Now, the good news... I found out thanks to many viewers that there is a buffet in the Greater Seattle area called the Harvest Buffet. And it gets better because it's supposedly one the largest buffets in the Greater Seattle area and offers an incredible deal at $20 - $25 for their dinner buffet with seafood, sushi, Mongolian grill and dim sum. Plus, while asian buffets are not known for their desserts, the dessert station at the Harvest is impressive!
Unfortunately, while my friends decided to head back, I decided to venture on. Thank you for joining me on this local buffet adventure.

I have to commend you and give you props for driving alone from 200 outlet mall into Tacoma, just to dine and review this insanely busy Buffet solo, for your viewers.
Yea, looks like a long drive down there just to do this review
When eating at buffet make sure you at no breakfast or lunch to get money worth
Hi Tim your such a Great food blogger I've been subscribed to your channel for over 4 years now and I click onto your videos just as quick TODAY as I have for years now ❤❤❤❤
Thanks for reviewing our favorite Buffet. We agreed with everything you ate. Hope you had safe travel home after that huge meal.
Thank you so much and I can see why this is your favorite buffet! Really enjoyable and I must say that the sushi station was worth the cost alone 🙂
First off I commend you on vlogging in such a crowded area. Your commentary kept me watching the full video. Additionally, I really appreciate you finishing everything you put on your plate.
It was very interesting to film at the buffet. It was crazy, busy but lots of fun as many of the guests were quite engaging.
You are always so happy and smiling. The smile is infectious.
Hi Tim, I appreciate your review of this buffet. We love you for doing this. Thank you for doing this! Best regards.
Thank you so much and really grateful to get to visit and share these places
The fried bananas are plantains! Very different from regular bananas. Eaten all over the world, especially in the Caribbean. You can eat them green or yellow/black (which is what they were serving)
I always enjoy watching your food reviews Tim, this has to be one of the best value buffets that you reviewed. I am still amazed from the amount of food you can eat, 3 rounds of 2-3 plates plus a dessert plate... you are one of the most polite/funny/entertaining youtubers out there, great job and i hope to see more of your videos!
I can’t imagine a better deal for $20-$25!
While you're home in Vancouver, I would love to request you make a video at your favourite/staple restaurants, but also make a Q&A of it!
We know you love a good potato salad, but don't know why you got into food vlogging? what your favourite place to travel is? Your favourite food? What your other career is that calls for so much travel? 🙏🙏
Yes, inquiring minds wanna know....we're nosy Tim. Answer us! What do you do outside of UA-cam? Show us everything....your work, your family, Vancouver, etc.! Your loyal "fans" need answers! Do you have a GF? Wife? Kids? What is your regular work out routine? How often do you exercise and what is your exercise routine to keep off the weight with all your eating?
i love how He calls staffs with their first name. so sweet😊
The selection and the price is un matched 🤑👍. Thanks for the review ones again Tim. Now I know what to expect if I’m ever in the area. 😋👍
It is impressive how they can offer all that for $25 and sometimes even less
Hi Tim...thank you for bringing us along ..Tacoma has changed much since I was at University of Puget Sound many years ago...the military discount is for the large population at Fort Lewis/ McChord AFB nearby...glad to see you back in the PNW...HAPPY EASTER 🙏♥️🫂
Thank you again and a happy Easter to you!
Is there a more hilarious/more adorable food reviewer on UA-cam? Nope.
Another great video Tim!
And kind! ❤
@@ckbarry 100% He’s the best.
Always nice to see you and your vlogs! There are only a few places where you have not been.
Happy Easter Tim. What a wonderful buffet you brought us to today. Does chicken feet look wonderful
Hey Tim, I know you usually go to buffets at opening because it would be less crowded and the food is fresh. It would have been very beneficial in this case. Thanks for sharing!
i love these new videos with the reviews of the reviews!!
Excellent $25 buffet...lots of different types of dishes to choose from...even picky me found a few dishes and get my moneys worth 😋😂...Happy Easter, safe travels and God Bless 🤗❤
Yes Nice. Same ..❤💐🌷
I don’t eat a lot of Asian or seafood but even this place would have something to satisfy me, we’re going here next weekend
@@bradlenseigne4086 well we need to know
another great video tim! you represent us vancouverites proud :D
Thank you so much 🙏
Hi Tim 👋I just wanted to say thank you for yet another awesome buffet review 😄Harvest Buffet reminds me of the Hibachi Grill & Buffet in Houston. Your talent for cracking crawfish is seriously impressive, and it's funny we ended up having boiled crawfish for dinner tonight too 😆 I really appreciate you taking the time to review the kimchi, especially after indulging in dessert 😅Can't wait to see your next food adventure !
Hi Tim, hope you're doing well and staying healthy. It's great meeting you at the restaurants while you doing your food vlog review. Awesome video and honest review. Keep up the great work you doing. Looking forward your next adventure. Thumbs up the video 👍😀
Tim❤ Happy Easter buddy
Happy Easter Tim, that’s lot of food for buffet 😻thanks for sharing for that kind of yummy food Tim🤤😍❤️👏😮
I enjoy how nice and polite you are to everyone, I believe addressing everyone with their names is a great thing you do not see a lot anymore
Really grateful that everyone there were such good sports
You are delightful…thank you for your great channel
What a bargain buffet! It's great watching my boyfriend eat, and it's the same thing with you. You have an honest opinion on what's good 👍 😊
Good to know and thanks for sharing this. $25 is good value for sure!
You make me hungry Tim, now thinking going to eat buffet 🥰😻😁
Thank you for coming down to Tacoma and for your review! I appreciate all your reviews!
Great value for money. Thanks for filming, you’re so polite and sweet x
It’s nice to find some good value places … things are getting so expensive 🙂
Looks like a great deal for the price.
I just found your t-shirt to funny, drinking your Pepsi with a Coca-Cola shirt on 😂
I'm not sure why your channel ended up in my recommendations, but I've been enjoying your content! I went to Harvest for lunch a few weeks ago when I found myself in Tacoma. I wasn't seated by anyone; I was just told to grab any open table. It wasn't overly busy when I went, though, and I didn't have to wait.
Thank you so much and hope you enjoyed it. For $20 or $25, it’s quite a good value
Fun! Yum! Thank you, Tim!
:) Hoppy Easter Tim and KUDOS for sharing! Did not know about this place either, so THANKS MUCH! Will share with Daughter, just for Cotton Candy :) LOL as yes NOT Seattle Outlet Mall at all, Marysville, closer to Everett :) ENJOYED it much and will have to put on my list. ALL the BEST and Cheers! :)
Those poor people working at a cotton candy station... They were all covered in pink fluff. 😆
THANKS MUCH again for sharing! Yes the operator is busy with all the Kids and Adults that like Cotton Candy :) ALL the BEST!@@TimLeeLetsGo
Mu uncle owned the great wall restaurant there before a huge remodel for harvest buffet
That’s my hood, grew up there. That restaurant used to be called the Great Wall. Old school Chinese food. It was my favorite place. Went there for all my birthdays and special occasions in the mid 70’s and through the 90’s. Miss their food. I haven’t tried this place yet but have wanted to try
My uncle owned great wall. Best Mongolian beef and ahrimp fried rice
Tim, love your channel and your Coke-Cola Shirt.
The wife and I go here quite often. We've been going here for about 4 years now. It's been pretty good every time. I'm not going to say everything is on point every time, but it's better than the feast buffet in Renton. You also don't really need to wait in line for stuff you don't want. I just bounce around to the stuff I like.
Thank you so much! At $25 for this massive buffet, it’s quite a gem. Totally agree that not everything is on point, but I’m not complaining.😋
thanks for the video, hope you make more of you exploring Seattle!
Omg you passed by my house literally 5 minutes away from ☺️ love too see the local love
wow. For 25 dollars that's a fantastic buffet. Thank you.
It's nice to find a buffet that doesn't cost an arm and a leg.... Great value 😃
Here is a realistic drive time from a 36 year resident of Tacoma. SeaTac to this buffet in Tacoma, in average flowing traffic, is 30 minutes. From downtown Seattle about 50 minutes. From Olympia is 30 minutes. BTW, average flowing traffic only happens between 9:13am and 11:51am Tuesday through Thursday. Other times and days are wildly unpredictable. That buffet is fair to ok, but the cold peel and eat shrimp and the cotton candy are the highlights.
Tim, I love watching your buffet reviews and so pleased you came to my hometown, Tacoma, to review Harvest Buffet. I especially like the sushi bar and think that the price is a good value for all of the options.
I totally agree 👍 … the sushi station (as well as the grill station) were incredible
With all the people there, food MUST be worth waiting for 🤗😉. Was it? 😳. You do awesome videos, Tim! 🤗💖
I have eat there, it was great! Huge, nice people, clean, and fresh food. I am a big girl now so was able to fine one of the many tables to sit at. We found the food was constantly being refiled. Time of day makes it harder to stay ahead, but worth it.
Kindly make a video behind the scenes how foods are prepared in buffet restaurants.
Great restaurant review. Thank you for sharing. Dxf
Pausing your video to make homemade chicken adobe. Save me a seat, so we can dine together. 🍽 😊
Me too, except I'm going for a chicken salad sandwich and I'm putting on a pot roast for later and leftovers.
There us a buffet in Renton that I have only been there once several years ago. The feast buffet. I go to the harvest buffet often. Since my brother lives in Tacoma.
The feast buffet is great though I think it is almost twice the price. I guess it’s a different price point and different offerings.
This place was always my kids FAVORITE!
Oh, the kids would absolutely love it!
Hi tim thank you for your honesty for 25 dollars is a great deal for family's people should know some of the items are gonna be hit and miss but overall it's worth the visit. Tim safe travels and thanks for sharing
Tim, Great find. All so amazingly tasty looking food. Having made chicken feet myself they are a labor intensive tasty treat.👍. Quite the Asian Feast. My Easter dinner was at the local China buffet. Good food though pales in comparison. Happy Easter. Best
A very happy Easter to you 😃. Very impressive to make the chicken feet dish! Yeah, I heard it was quite intense 😃
Thank you for this video will try this place out@@TimLeeLetsGo
If you get back to Australia and venture out of Sydney City - will buy you a dinner at Kickin Inn in Penrith! xx
Hi Tim, If you think of it could you describe some of the dishes in more detail? Especially the ones you pick. For example, I have no idea what “show my” is. However, I do know what tripe is (not really something I’d ever choose again. To each his own. 😅) I enjoy your videos and watch them all. Thanks for hours of great entertainment. 👍
Shao Mai are delicious steamed dumplings with a pork filling ❤❤
Thank you so much for reaching out and for the feedback. Will definitely keep that in mind 😃
OMG I live in Fed Way this is on my hit list for sure! I commercial fish in Alaska so the seafood might not be up to my par but ill def give it a go!
OMG Ikura and that is actually high grade Ikura when I started working in Alaska I worked with the Japanese in the Roe house. That is Grade #1 Chum Ikura! I can tell by the size and color.
Wow! That’s impressive. Salmon roe is quite expensive where I’m from (Vancouver)
Tim, FYI, there are two Salty’s Restaurants in Washington. One in Alki Beach in Seattle and the other in Redondo Beach in Federal Way. They also have their Sunday Brunches, even on Saturdays.
You need to go try Feast Buffet in Renton which is like 2-3 times bigger than Harvest. Harvest Buffet is the sister buffet of Feast.
I think this was an old K-Mart building ! You should bring a small refillable propane torch with you. The kind they use for caramelizing the sugar on a crème brulee ! That way you can reheat most of your food as you eat it right at the table. I actually do this. It works fantastic ! It's like having your own little Korean Bar B Que in your pocket ! The last place I used it, the owner came over to our table and said, "that's a great idea" ! I can't count the times I could have used that ! I said, "then you don't mind" ? He said no problem, just don't burn my place down ! And we all had a good laugh !
😂 I would be a bit concerned, bringing your own blowtorch to a restaurant🤣
We are waiting for you to come back to Houston tim thanks for taking us with you to your travel eats
Boy oh boy that was a tearjerker. I'm so happy for all of you, may God continue to bless you all. Thank you for the tears,. Happy tears😢. Happy endings❤❤❤❤❤
Gee looked fantastic and great value no wonder they are doing a roaring trade. People look for those types of places much more than dearer priced places.😊
Omg, that is so absolutely worth it. Ya got me drooling! Thanx for the torture!
Happy Easter
Great video as always ! Closer for us Vancouver peeps you may want to check out Four Seasons buffet near Bellingham (in Burlington). On Sundays they serve fried Dungeness Crab and Lobster along with a Mongolian grill section . Same owner as Wonderful Buffet in Bellingham but a much larger selection. AKA Vamon….. oh wait .. oops 😂
That is a great deal. I’m definitely gonna try it. Thanks for the review.
It was almost worth the drive 😉
Happy Easer Tim, that buffet looks really nice. The sushi looks really fresh and delicious, I would be in trouble at that buffet.
This buffet looked great. I would like to try the eel. I've never had it before. I hope you have a Happy Easter. Cheers, Tim and God Bless! 👍🏻👍🏻✌️🇨🇦
Very affordable buffet, Tim.
I'm very surprised of the sushi selection for a $20-$25 buffet. Salmon roe is actually quite expensive. Unless it's a higher end buffet, I'm somewhat leary of sashimi in buffets, as food costs for high quality sashimi is extremely expensive. Seems like a very good value (esp in a non-casino restaurant).
$25 dinner buffet is still good deal in Greater Seattle area.
I’d also add the $15 weekday canteen style lunch buffet at K squared Mansion in Richmond . Great value school lunch style northern Chinese food .
Lisa likes tripe in her menudo, me not so much. lol Thanks for the shoutout!
That tripe looks AMAZING! Love tripe!
Awesome and great to hear! Not too many people like tripe. It was very good.
I started off very confused: Seattle, Seattle Outlet Mall, then Tacoma. I looked it up, and it is just a little northwest of the Tacoma Mall, about 35 miles south of Seattle, a 5 minute drive from I5.
haha, hit with the brain freeze right on que... what a great value in today's market.
It is quite a bargain for a $20 to 25 dollar dinner
I think Harvest Buffet is one of (maybe the best) asian buffets in Seattle/Tacoma for this price range. Its worth the drive.
It was a great experience… And a long drive😉
When my partner and I were younger, we must have hit every buffet in the Puget Sound area. Great to see someone doing reviews of buffets. I'll eat and live vicariously through you. You pulled off a Michael Scott when you inhaled the powder.😅
Greetings from the Pacific Northwest as well! Glad to hear you enjoyed all the buffets there. Still keeping the eye out for new places.😉
I just discovered your channel tonight, thank you for sharing, this place looks amazing with the price and the food look great that’s a great deal, just have one question do you know great buffet in NYC? Thanks 😊
I got a chance to visit New York a while ago and I did find some nice places for buffets. There is a place called “The Buffet” and the crab is very nice as well
Thanks for the recommendation! Traffic is always like that. I live 30 minutes south, can take 2-hours 😞
Definitely need a self driving car😉
You were in rare form today. I shouldn't get this, too much starch. Gets it. I'll only have steak and shrimp - oh, look chicken. Okay, just one more potato half. Thanks for making me smile. Not the fanciest buffet but all the food looked good. Happy Easter from sunny Oregon!
I’m at Seattle outlet now for Easter holiday! But the buffet is a bit too far for my fam to drive…
Yeah, it is a bit of a drive which I found out the hard way 😉
Go to Fiest Buffet in Renton. It's located at the 167 and 405 intersection.
Haha! I just noticed you correct yourself ..lol. the Seattle outlet is in a city called Marysville, which is almost 2 hours from Seattle in good traffic. If it's backed up like it always is, you're looking at a far longer drive. I live in the mountains in Washington. I've never heard of this place. I think it would be worth the 4 hour drive for me. The buffet looks AMAZEBALLZ!
Hi Tim:
Enjoyed your video. Am thinking of trying out the Harvest Buffet this weekend. I am wondering about the tipping etiquette for buffet. Any recommendation in this? Thanks
Leo
Thanks for reaching out. There’s a tipping option when you pay for the meal and just keep in mind that it’s mostly self serve. I think they have a suggested amount of about 10% to 15% which seems fair. Please not that this is a value buffet … if you want something a bit higher end (with the associated higher cost), their sister restaurant, the Feast buffet in Renton would be a good choice. Enjoy your day 🙂
You made my mouth water eating and seeing all that delicious food. ❤ God bless!
How did you get all that back to the table?? Hahahaha kidding x
You ate so much food! ... Wow
Good selection of dim sum and sushi for the price.
Please review the Dragon Star Buffet in Burnsville, MN. It is a suburb of S Minneapolis and they have exceptional food and much variety! I love watching all your videos!!
Wow! I just took a glance at the dragon star cafe and it looks really impressive! Will definitely keep that in mind if I'm in the area 😋
Friday and Saturday night is crazy busy
If you are still in the Seattle area you should totally try Feast Buffet if you haven’t already. It beats driving all the way to Tacoma. Enjoy!
They also have cups for spicy mayo and eel sauce.
Hey Tim! Luv this episode. The bananas were fried plantains. They're delicious if you've never had any.
Tempura roll: when old sushi needs to be reused
What a way to minimize food waste😉
I wish i know you was there earlier then I can joint you. Love and watch every video from you
A small bit of sugar is used in the making of kimchi to help with fermentation 😊
That makes sense… Although I is a touch sweeter than most kimchi
what camera do you use tim lee
I use the DJI osmo pocket 3. Would highly recommend
Used to love this buffet, but me and family got food poising and we went when they first opened. It is pretty good food.
Oh no! I’m sorry to hear. Was it the whitefish? There’s something called whitefish or white tuna that we have to be careful about. They serve these buffets, but they don’t eat too much you end up going to the washroom.
Nice review... decent price during lunch time.. I'll have to try it out sometime.
Wuzzup Seattle
Hello Elaine!
✌✌
Dang where do you put it all I wouldn’t have made it past the first two plates and I’m a fat guy haha. Just subscribed 🙃
Thank you so much....I was a bit hungry spending the entire day driving 😉😃
