This is a well deserved refresh to LIRR, DTG have done well on this. However, in the absence of the other branch lines New Hempstead and Far Rockaway, I simply cannot justify it at full price. I think, had DTG given us the extra branch lines, the M3, M7 and M9 in one package, there would be hardly any criticism. Until a sale is on, I'll continue watching your videos, British Ace.
Adding in all the branches is still a ton of work. It's not just snap your fingers and it's done. It takes a ton of time to model everything

@@potatoman451 The West Hempstead and Far Rockaway branches are shorter than Long Beach and would've made sense to add since they are all right next to one another. They could've easily done it. They have done more on other routes.
@@blackking7512The existing route is already well over 50 miles. Adding Far Rockaway is another 10 miles of new scenery, stations, and more trains to schedule. Couple that with the licensing they have to get done (which they already have had trouble with). It’s incredibly time consuming.
@@edot_nyc Right, right, and Kassel Wuzburg is 116 miles. What other excuses do u have for why they couldn't add West Hempstead and Far Rockaway as well?
I know it’s in the point but the street below nostrand Avenue is 3 lanes on each side of overpass not 4

One thing I hate about the upgrade is they got rid of the door panels in the cabs and replaced them with these unrealistic buttons that aren’t even on the real trains IRL
Get mad at mta who specifically requested dtg remove and change things due to security reasons
I can appreciate that they did this but 10% only if you own the old one cmon can i like get some(not saying all) Money back from that awful route because this is really just amazing in comparison but the price idk
You still need the old one for layers on trenton if it applies to you. I don't think dtg is allowed to give massive discounts for owning a previous product. Each platform have their rules dtg needs to follow
@@potatoman451 i can not play trenton new timetable(even though I can play london commuter which had far more services) so I don't really care
