I’ve seen versions of this team in Ultra League and my Tapu Fini + Greninja back line loves it. The Thunder Punch even isn’t enough in Ultra League to knock out a Greninja. In Great League, it does a bit better because things are less bulky.
I’ve been running Cressilia lead with Shadow Charizard and Typhlosion back line for a long while in Ultra League. This team is sneakily good with Charizard being the safe swap. When you bait out those gators and Swamperts with Charizard, you can actually win the switch or at least deal with insane damage with it. Once you got the shield advantage with the high damage output and bulk from Cressilia, shadow Typhlosion as the closer can almost destroy anything with 2 charge moves (except for Giratina which is bulky as hell that won't be taken down with 2 Blast Burns).
16:25 I’m actually having a lot of success with Ice Punch on Annihilape right now because I got so sick and tired of getting a big energy lead and a 2-1 shield advantage on Annihilape just to have a Gligar or Mandibuzz be revealed as the final Pokémon and shut it all down. I may go back to NS later (getting the boost is so fantastic) but it is so satisfying to be able to swiftly dispatch a Gligar from the field for little energy.
@@Yhowshuwa Part of me wonders whether Ice Punch + Night Slash is a viable combo. You can still play as though you have Shadow Ball, and you might get the attack boost on the first Night Slash anyway.

Totally unrelated to the video, but imagine if someone made a mod to the game where everytime you throw a charged move its a completely random move. Doesnt matter the energy, body slam could be a focus blast, etc. i think that would be such a funny april fools league by niantic
on iphone I'm on the 0.323.0-A-64 version, this is the latest update but I'm still having issues with stutters- in particular with one turn bring in and getting denied on fast moves, same as before

A shadow Pokemon will give a 20 points boost to a Pokemon's Attack Stat and -20 on their defense, while being perfect IV gives a 15 points boost to all of the stats, on paper a perfect IV sounds better thanks to them being bulkier, but raids have limited time so it's never about lasting long, it's about doing a lot quickly. For PVP it really depends if your Pokemon will work better being more offensive or if you want them to keep a higher bulk, some Pokemon are better as regulars in this case, like Bastiodon that likes keeping the bulk

just change the positions of the typlosion and charizard if you dont want to encounter vigoroth

0.323 was problematic for me as well
On android at least I was able to downgrade to 0.321.1 and that helped
