When you buy an Allett mower, you buy a one off mower for life that will produce the best results

I would have assembled it on the lawn to stop from scratching my shiny new mower. 😂LOL I really like the speed control. I have the Kensington 14K and I have to push it as the cutting speed is too fast for me as I have mobility issues.

Hi Ray yes the speed control is a game changer! Can suit all working paces

The combination of ego mower/battery tech plus the Allett rotary cylinder, is probably a near-perfect combination... it's just a shame it's SO expensive for consumer/domestic use. I'd love one but it's 3x more expensive than I could justify even as a luxury purchase and as a bare tool (since I already have Ego batteries). If I had to buy the kit with batteries it would be nearly 4x what I can justify spending on a mower

I agree with you it's so expensive it's dearer than some ride on mowers,I have several ego tools and batteries etc but just can't justify the cost of the stirling

Do you use the aerator cartridge? Is it a viable alternative to my massive heavy Bannerman?

My question is if the grass is a bit long do you need to take it down first with a different mower?as the cut height on the stirling looks quite low would it struggle in longer grass,i have the ego 2135 sp which is battery powered and its a great mower and im very happy with it but i would really like to get nice stripes in the garden,i have bought the roller striping kit which sits on the back of it and it does an ok job but i want to do better and im getting to the stage where maybe i should invest in a dedicated striping lawnmower to achieve that lovely stripe finish, can you do stripes and mulch at the same time or must you always bag when striping?

      Hi Eddie
The Stirling can cope with longer grass however we do have a set of auxiliary wheels in the kit that comes with it that you can put on in place of the front roller so you can cut longer grass :)
