what program are you using to draw your scematics? If you don't mind me asking. seems to be very easy to use. I am new to this all and still trying out different tools. liked the vid.thx
With a few words reset the on board mega using RES->GND connect 5v and TX RX and with this use the CH340 serial chip of the UNO to program the pro mini without extra usb->ttl converter adaptor.
Do I have to solder these connections or is there a different way? I want to switch from an nano to a mini but soldering these pins onto it, programming and then desolder seems to be too much work.
Do you do all of this, because you do not have a USB to Serial TTL adapter? If yes, why you do not explain this in the description? And BTW, the link to schematics does not work.
in the software part you need to set the port, to chose the board and when you upload the sketch and the software show loading to press the reset on arduino pro mini!!
for what you connect between reset to GND? I think in following you i burned my ch340. Before i wasnt problem with my arduino but now its all the time send error: avrdude: stk500_recv(): programmer is not responding avrdude: stk500_getsync() attempt 10 of 10: not in sync: resp=0xa6 i try reinstall my USB drivers but it doesnt help.

I think you need to cross join the Tx-Rx lines, like Tx on one to the Rx on the other (transfer-receive).
