Nice to know you liked visiting my home town Ranchi. Although currently I live and work in Singapore, but in Ranchi. I live 1 km from Dhoni's house. Ranchi, being a Tire 2 city, its relatively less developed than Tire 1 cities like Mumbai, New Delhi, Bengaluru, etc.
Ranchi is one of the oldest city in India, Ranchi is very good in educational institutions but unfortunately the infrastructure is in pathetic conditions especially the roads are worse....now the government after a very very long slumber has begun to invest in over head roads. But the traffic and hygiene conditions are poor. Ranchi is undoubtedly beautiful but very old in looks and congested. Ranchi needs huge investment almost in every area...
