I really really really love newt hes literally my favourite character ever written because he has this story behind him and he's fighting against everything inside of him but wants the best for all his friends and wouldn't care if something would happen to him to save them, but his death is just this one happening that made me love tdc even more and it creates so much emotion that he really couldn't take it out. I hope he doesn't.
I honestly think newts death was important to the story because it's like when you go on this mission there will be consequences and newt ended up being that beddause obviously it's one of those things where not everyone can survive. But I hated it at the same time of course.
