Which film stock do you like best? 🙂
Hey Tim, loved the video. Really liked the colour of the Portra 160. Did you have to edit any of these photos or were they pretty close to straight out of the camera?
Thanks so much for that! Glad you enjoyed it :) All the photos were straight from the scans. The shadows and exposure were lifted very slightly but more on a few of the black and white images. Of course export settings for video and a range of other things can alter this slightly, but as close as possible to how they come straight from camera!
@@TKNORTH Awesome! thanks for that !
I'm a fan of color plus.
Try film from lomography! Something crazy like a metropolis or purple!
Kodak Porta 160 film and Sigma 135mm is soo good combo 😍😍😍😍
I do love them both!
Wonderful captures. I really enjoyed your video. Prepping for my first trip to Italy and want to make the most of my time taking photos. Thank you.
Broooo whaattt???? Those shots are FIREEEEEE
Nice video and great pics. I love black and white but for me the Kodak 200. The grain is so beautiful.
Thanks so much! I definitely agree, I just love the grain on the Colorplus
REALLY LOVE THIS VID. THANK YOU FOR SHARING
Colorplus 😍
Love me some colorplus!!!
We need more of your film videos PLS 🙇
Always enjoy finding another street photographer to watch. Cheers!
Agreed!!! Thanks so much for watching
I don’t usually watch these kind of videos from start to finish, but this one i did do😅👌🏻. Chill video and nice pictures mate.
Awww thanks so much glad you enjoyed it!
Those were great shots.
great video! beautiful city! need to go there again with my film camera ;P was there some 18 years ago but not in the most beautiful parts. Just was passing by with my dad who was a truck driver at the time xp I love watching those great POV photography videos and made some myself but just can't find a way to like my photos and decide what is worth photographing in my city and what not xp I just see the POV videos many photograph just about anything xp
Love these kinds of videos where we can see the process of getting the shots. More please! great stuff as always
There are plenty of channels which have these kind of videos, check out: Emil Varga, Tanner Yancy, James Rainsford, etc.
Prepping for my own trip to Venice in two weeks time and glad to see you get so much use out of the 24mm. I was going back and forth between a 24 and a 28, but settled on a 24 due to how narrow all the streets are. This give me some confidence that I made the right call. Your shots are also very inspiring.
Thank you I really do appreciate that so much. I really did enjoy having the 24mm here. Hope you have a wonderful time in Venice!
Super enjoyable watch mate
Thanks so much mate, glad you enjoyed it!
Great to see travel kicking back into gear ✈🚊🚌🛳🗺 Can't wait to shoot film and digital in the Philippines next month. Don't really have any favourites yet but so far have enjoyed HP5 for b&w and Ultramax for all round colour. I loved your shots! The compositions were awsome to me 👌 Well done 👏👏👏
Making me want to shoot more film! And go back to Italy...
Black and whites are so good!
Haha thanks my man! Missing it already too. I’ve never really done much film for street stuff so it was lots of fun. First time using the delta b&w too, really liked it! Certainly not an everyday roll though
That first shot of the kids playing soccer kind of surprised me being film - to be able to capture action like that. Awesome! @@TKNORTH
I'm off to Venice again in a couple of weeks and taking film cameras this time. This video has answered some indecision on my part about lenses. I also want to shoot film but taking Tri-X for a bit more gritty contrast.
How exciting ! Enjoy your trip and hope you get some good shots :) It really is a great city to capture on film! For me now having a few more RF lenses when I travel these were the only EF lenses I had available, but it was a nice mix in the end. I do love shooting street at 50mm though!
Good vid mate. I shall be visiting Venice later in the year hopefully to shoot some film, worried about airport scanners though!.....Fav film is portra 400 and acros 100.
Thanks so much Gary! It was definitely great getting back to Venice, nothing else quite like it. For me about half of the airports let me get the film inspected separately by eye rather than going through the scanners, but the other ones just pointed to a sign on the machine that said "film safe". Mine all turned out but also all very low ISO film I had for this trip. I still think it's always worth asking! It would be so disappointing to have them ruined. Also I must try acros 100, thanks for the suggestion!
Wonderful 👌
Thanks so much for that!
@@TKNORTH 👍
eos 630 is a real sleeper of a camera, timeless design, love mine to bits, just be careful of the onset of battery going quickly down due to display light malfunction
It's a great camera! My first EOS film camera, it's really great having EF lenses to pick from. Thank you for the tip, I have heard of this happening before as well. I try to keep a couple of spare batteries just in case, but thankfully hasn't been an issue for me as yet.
@@TKNORTH I remove the battery when not in use on my second copy which hasn't got the problem yet
@@utube321piotr that’s a great idea!
I liked the Kodak Color Plus the most
I have a request
Is it possible to do another POV like this one
Shoot Film with the same camera but with a cheap EF lens like 50 mm 1.8 STM
I would like to see the results of using the same camera with a cheap lens
Well I think you used Sigma and Sigma is Expensive
Well I have the same camera you got but different number I think it’s Eos 850
But I don’t have a lens on it yet
Thank You so much
I really love the ColorPLus look too! That's a great suggestion, to be honest I really wish I had a small 50mm for it, I might try to buy one second hand or borrow someones for a future video! It's a great focal length and keeps it small and light which is great too. And thanks for watching :)
