The fact you can find your animals in the wild again after releasing them is so good ;; So many games after you release animals just had them disappear, it’s so much nicer being able to see that they’re living happily in the wild after leaving the farm.
One thing I've learned from playing any games. Never ever sell anything unless it says something like, junk to be sold at merchant. Great video! Thanks for sharing your tips.
I generally expect "exists only to be sold to a merchant" to be misleading or trolling in some way at some point, until I end up needing to sell those anyway and then eventually stop caring.
Here’s a tip I see people missing. Don’t skip out on cooking in your house! There is a meal where you only need 1 raw fish and it gives 38 stamina therefore you can catch the easiest fish west river of main area then cook them all up all at once. If you eat the fish meal to catch more you’ll be able to catch another 9 fish granting you a profit of 8 more meals. So fish till bed, cook them all up and your good to go for stamina easy! Way better then Drying the fish because it’s a lot more stamina per fish and you don’t have to wait for them to dry.
Tomato / strawberry juice gives 33 stamina and is much cheaper.
Nice. :]
@@tyang125 how to get strawberry juice?
@@sarahleopards4904juice that strawberry
Omg Josh, thank you so much, I was stuck in a rut with the fruit trees and wondering what I was doing wrong! On my part, I just noticed that upgrading your animal shed to the largest size means collecting animal resources (except sweeping up poop) is automatic and all the fur, milk, horns, etc. will be grouped at the coralled area in the bottom left corner of the shed.
1.When you go to the forest, u could always go back home with shortcut, it's a rock stairs at the left side from cave entrance, next to waterfall instead of going back down those mountain taking lot of time.
2. After some cutscenes trigger about the Jungle where u collect your achievement, be sure to check it out every season for new seeds.
Hope this is helpful..~
omg i did not even know about the shortcut truly saving so much time thank you!!!
Can atest to the usefulness of fur. Sold mine and regreted it forever! As a tip, the traveling merchant sometimes sells fur, you should always check when he's in town and buy all he has available.
Also I didnt know boars produced fur more quickly than other animals, nice tip!
Thank you! That tree sapling tab was new to me! It's the last thing I need for the pyramid and I have for the love of Pacha, not been able to find out how to grow trees!
Did you realize that you can look around the map just by holding your cursor all the way off in the desired direction? I took me too long to figure out 😂
This game is in my backlog, and I could totally see myself making these same mistakes. It does some things differently from your typical farming game. Some of these would throw me off for sure.
The 1st tip is nice, luckily i had the idea to dry and smoke it and check the points you get for them. So i grabbed the ones already put into the contribution bin and dried them fast.
Also for the sapling tip, gramps says it at the start that he cant help farming but can by nursing seeds and saplings. :]
These are really nice tips that will save me some time, thanks. :]
My biggest mistakes in Roots of Pacha were:
1. Instead of searching in the savanna for bones, I should've just traded with Zeda.
2. You don't need to break up with someone to date another. You can actually date multiple partners before forming a union. If you decide to break up with someone, prepare to be guilt tripped (in the end, she's the one I married so I guess all's well that ends well).
Thanks! Very useful!
The game's pretty fast-paced for the genre's standard so being able to save time through trade or buying what you need (seeds especially!) is essential. Resisting the urge to forage ("but it's free!" Well, time is money!) is huge.
You can still date other romancable characters even after your union ceremony too :3
Thanks Josh, this game is so different in many ways but is in the same way one of the best if not THE best farming sim since SV. It's very addicting and memories from my childhood come up, when i play it.
Also: great channel, keep up the amazing work!
Great video but some things have changed in one of the latest updates, I found out that now fish is more valuable smoked rather than dried, don't know what other changed there have been but it would be best to check everything.
I just bought Roots of Pacha & very glad you made this video! Thanks for sharing this great advice.
All of these tips are incredibly helpful! Thank you Josh!!
Great tips. I definitely need to start saving the fur.
Thank you so much for these tips!! Would be a game changer for me for sure
Thank you so much for this - I have just started playing, not a clue what I'm doing, but enjoying it!
Lots of really great tips! Thank you Josh. 😁
So glad for this video! I just started playing yesterday so I could use all the tips!
Great tips - thanks! (Just started Fall Year 1)
How did you get the water/trench to go through the bee hive?
Thank you the tips Josh really helpful for when I get it on the switch on release day and would love anymore you have 😀
thank you for the tips, will definitely come in handy when I get the time to play the game more often. :3
Super helpful. Thank you!
Thanks for the tips!! It’s great!
I remember when I found out you could buy trees. It was fall going to winter on the first year, and I couldn't get any product till spring. Glad to know I wasn't the only one who missed it.
Mistake #1. Do not cancel out of placing the upgraded tools hut. You'll have to spend contributions and other resources when it should be free.
Great Tips..Thanks Josh
Started today so this helped a lot!
Thank you so much!,I'm at fall and have no irrigation yet and didn't know I can buy saplings 😁
Thankfully I figured out most of this already but oh my god, that releasing animals trick and how to buy trees?! GAME CHANGER!! I really don't think they explain that anywhere in game, soo good to know now
Thank you for these tips. I've bought the game, but have yet to start it. This will save me some time for sure. :-D Love your videos and streams.
Josh you saved my irrigation system!! Thank youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu
I learned about the fur for the trenches and that the trenches water three spaces in between.
Thanks. This will save me some headache.
It seems it has way better husbandry than Stardew Valley.
Wow. When do I get to make those watering canals? I am only at the beginning of Summer 1.
Ive heard that using the fiber to make hay bales is pretty good way to get points and is also better food for your animals to feed on as it gives better friendship hearts.
You are indeed my future-irrigation-system hero. 😆
I've been playing for about a week and I just realized last night that I could buy trees I was so excited 😂
this video is a lifesaver
could you do a farm tour for inspiration?
How do you get the watering thing? I swear it’s so difficult for me to
And also, im like, stuck? Its so hard for more achievements to unlock
very useful
I got a problem with my irrigation system. The outer canal maxed out at 9 tiles, but the inner canal can only reach to 6 (my tiles are modeled like in the video). Did I do wrong?
thats prob because you can only attach 9 trenches to a water extender, no matter which side! so the inner canal always has the smallest sized since the trenches are on the left and right
i got no time a day, pickling all the stuff for the brownie points!
got around 4-6k a day
Have you meditated yet? Or used the swings?
I don't know how to buy seeds even though I have the nursery, he doesn't have anything when I talk to him :(
Thanks! This helps a lot. But does anyone know if the animals can naturally die of old age in this game? Otherwise I got no clue how to get meat.
Animals don't die, you get meat by trading with Grob! That's the only way to get red or white meat, but you can also make plant meat by pressing legumes, like garbanzo or beans.
Legume is a funny word
How you got the stone gates at 4:27?
You can buy all of the different arches from Reese! They're in the last tab.
@@JoshGamingGarden oh thanks, never checked on Reese
I wish the game would give more of a value add to processing raw materials in terms of contribution points.
That's one thing I like a lot about Dinkum and the My Time games. You get a good boost compared to the time it takes to turn cheaper raw materials into finished goods.
i mean if you make pickled stuff its worth a decent bit, i usually sell 24 pickled garlic for 5k+ points
God, I feel so inefficient xD I'm legit have two prophecies left and I legit have like 2 of everything (Beehives/fermenters/ect ) I focused mostly on farming and i have like 7 ... I think animal shelters for each animal xD Honestly my main focus was marrying Mana which i did so .-. Yolo xD
Soo, just realized i don't need to leave the grass in the animal pen😅. Couldn't see the babies😂
I searched for saplings forever XD
I discovered the saplings more or less by accident, having a "hey, wait, what's that?" moment when I saw the tab. Clicked on it and was like "oooh, neat!"
Smoked is literally better than dried in every way. Just longer to smoke
Why are fishing minigames always the lowest-effort, most simplistic trash? Seriously, a game of Memory or Minesweeper would whup on the fishing minigame in Stardew, or Dredge, or here in Pacha.
OMG! I had no idea I could also buy tree seeds / saplings 🫣🤪
