I honestly can't recall Conor post-fight being an asshole or disrespectful towards his opponent. He wasn't when he lost to Nate, or when he beat Nate. He wasn't after KOing Aldo. And he wasn't after stiffening Eddie up. He really is a class act, and the talk is clearly just promotional stuff.
Conor hasn't even been 145 champ for a year & most champs only defend 1 time/year so please come off the 'vacate the belt' train. Michael Johnson isn't a hard hitter or ko artist & rocked Khabib in the first round imagine what conor's left would do. I would give the title shot to khabib, not because he deserves it (only fighting horcher & johnson in 3 years isn't title material) but to shut him up. It would be an exciting matchup because if khabib could get the fight on the ground conor will lose, but conor fights long so he will have to take some shots to get to a takedown. khabib is also not a good striker at all.
