Hi I find your video incredibly useful and informative. I have a question: I recently switched from regular Medicare + Medicaid (I have both) to United Health DSNP (Dual Special Need). Can I still switch back to Original Medicare + Medicaid and keep my "Extra Help" for perscription drug (part D)? Hearing all the disadvantages of MA is pretty scary, and I worry about having to deal with them if anything come up.
You can absolutely switch back to Original Medicare. You'll likely need to reapply to Extra Help with Part D. I would also suggest you look into Medicare Savings Programs! Based on your income, you may be eligible and they can help to pay for your Part B monthly premiums. We will release an updated video soon, but this should help you with the basics! ua-cam.com/video/MQL7p-g3u7I/v-deo.html Please feel free to call with any questions: 888-410-0344. Have a great day!
Please don't let her misinformation you. you will not have to reapply for extra help and for the type of eligibility you have the plan you have selected is good. Nothing is one size fits all.
