Good job by the firefighters. fire alarms are siemens, by the way. Also the sprinkler was probably set off by the butter, not the drugs. but its kinda stupid they didnt just drain the sprinkler system, not the whole building.
There can't be one. The sprinklers need to be connected to the main building pipes. Or people would just turn the valve when one sprinkler is broken and doesn't care that the whole system is shut down.
Every ladder company should have a special wedge just for sealing off that sprinkler head... There's probably one in the mandatory kit that has extra replacement heads in the sprinkler control room.
I had something like this happen once but instead of a sprinkler it was a beer keg. There was a tap on the keg and the tap hose blew off and shot a hole through the ceiling, destroyed the floor and the ceiling tiles
Wow I remember this incident! I was sitting near Bethel BC when I heard the alarms go off.. Then I saw the FD come in. Found out later it was a rouge sprinkler!
One of my training sessions for basic 88 hours of basic fire fighter training back in 97 now its over 220 hours with a written and practical test for ff1 got so wet but it was a hot day when I had that class...

Yah
Well that's certainly one way to clean your kitchen floors.
Well if it works?...
Lol
Trying to kill the virus. lol
Ik u only need soap and then clean
Lol
AS A CHEF ITS GREAT TO SEE THAT THERE FIRE SUPRESSION SYSTEM WORKED
Probably set off the sprinkler while stashing some drugs. Butter was just a decoy.
Not that easy to set off a sprinkler head.
Would have to smash the bulb inside the head.
GOD BLESS and Thank You to All the Men and Women who do this SERVICE! You All are Awesome
all that water damage for butter 🤦🏽♀️

How much would it have cost had it not extinguished the fire? A few $1000 damage verses millions.

Great editing, refuse to believe no one said a word about that giant baggie lol
I’m hip that was quite obvious

tyvek05 To put used gloves in a ceiling tile? Are you stupid? I think you might be
matthewmmk Actually no, people leave things like gloves in the ceiling all the time. Very common.
Caiden coffman Yeah, you’re right. Like drugs.
Looks like some ones drug stash in plastic bag fell down...lmao
Lol sure did
There's tons of trash over those ceilings.
At first I thought it was a rat then I was like, nope that was some body's stash...😏
Whew. Whoever is paying for that water damage is not gonna be happy at all.

This is MY favorite episode of Live Rescue because of a fire alarm activation.
Agree
To everyone who was unexpectedly in the video: a fire sprinkler went off unexpectedly, causing a fire alarm activation.
That's gonna be some serious water damage

Seimem alarms are too over rated. I love the ones my school has. L series speaker strobes with a slow woop tone.
If anything was on fire, that sprinkler definitely put it out.
Being a sprinkler fitter, this is hilarious to watch
You'd think there would just be a valve they could use to cut off the sprinkler system lol

Ruben Kelevra shouldnt there be seperate «sub» valves to solve this problem?
The fire system has a underground that feeds it and there's multiple control valves in the pump room you can close.
There is, It just takes awhile to drain the water from multiple floors.

Just close the main valve and start draining the system
Look up navy DC wet trainer, had a lot of fun.
Opening the sink faucets wouldn’t have been a bad idea...
honestabe it’s a completely different system. The flow in the fire protection system is what sent the fire alarm to dispatch originally.
