    You know what, kid, you get a thumbs up just for being creative and taking initiative. It's people like you who just find a way to get a job done, so well done, my friend! (And yes, to my old self, if you're under 40 you're still a kid, so make the most of it while it lasts.)

    Excellent tutorial! In the future - please - try to use darker paper/table instead of newspapers, as they are a bit distracting. Thanks for tutorial!

    Instead of the copper wire for the handle, you could have used Sugru: it's a silicon rubber that you can mold and it would harden after 24 hours.

    Whats the point of the pipe with the wire taped to it? What's stopping the 21mm pipe from just sliding right out?

    Its all about the pipe, If you can find pipe that fits into each other than the rest is all fairly straight forward to any one who is mechanical. With that said, you did not fill in the most important blank. What pipe fits into each other so nicely and where can you find it? Without that info the rest is irrelevant. Nice effort but you forgot the biggest part. For anyone interested, I found the black plastic/pvc pipe at hardware stores can slide into the smaller size and make a good base for this but it lacks strength so if you are mounting some heavy items it may be dicey.

    Using electrical wire for hand grip? On hockey sticks we would use athletic tape for grip which can make it a non-slip grip. The electrical grip looks painful to grip!

    • @IroquoisPliskin
      @IroquoisPliskin 9 років тому +1

      Robert Roemer I did something like that and found a solution, you can use a wire from inside the pipe, it has to be well measured, and u'll need other stuff like a cap glued inside the inner pipe, and of course the pipe has to be thinner than the outer one, you'll actually fit the cap inside the outer pipe, the wire will be on the cap with a screw, and the other point of the wire will be on the outer piper. Pay attention that everything here has to be inside the pipes. by doing this, it won't pull out. There is another way too, you can just use one pipe inside the inner pipe, instead of a cap, but it's too hard to explain, I couldn't barely explain the other situation.

    Hi vv97vv, thank for make this video, It's very useful for me.
    But I have a question at time 6:22. How do you put the Grip into pole. What size of diameter of this small pipe ( 25mm or bigger)??

    • @vilhov
      @vilhov  10 років тому +2

      I made that grip in the end of the real pole, but for the video I just made a little peace just for example. And the pipes. The inner pipes outer diameter is the same size as the outer pipes inner diameter. So just the friction keep them together.
