Also, from where can i book day tours and airport transfers and what’s the best way to travel around the city? Thanks for sharing - so are u saying we need a guide even in May/June? Would you recommend hiring a car and driving in summer time or use public transport
Good luck with public transport. Don’t underestimate the language barrier at all. I suggest getting a guide irrespective of the weather. In the mountainous regions the weather changes very quickly. May June is still quite cold. You’ll most likely get snow in the higher altitude areas. I don’t want to scare you or exaggerate but this is a story the guide told me that there was a group that drove up to big Almaty lake in may or so with simple jackets. And the weather changed drastically, they eventually died because the snow storm blocked the roads, no one could rescue them and the cold weather got to them.

We wanna party in the evening and go for sight seeing in the daytime to explore the natural beauty of the place. Pls suggest accordingly
Hey April is the perfect time to visit. End of March is not too bad either. There is barely anything to see in Almaty city though. Most of the stuff is outside. So perhaps divide your trip in halves. 50% explore the region live in the nature and relax in the evenings and 50% chill in Almaty and do short day trips to close by attractions and party at night.
Hi, planning to visit Almaty from 22nd- 26th Dec. I heard they celebrate christmas on 7th Jan. is there any chance we can find christmas decorations on 25th? We are really looking forward for Christmas
Good luck 👍 the cold in December jan and feb is absolutely killing and miserable. As for Christmas, Kazkahstan is unofficially a Muslim country. They don’t have Christmas decors or Christmas markets.
Hi um travelling to Astana for work during the moth of December. Plan is totally beyond my control 😅😅. Wanted to check experience, if any, what i should have expect in dead winter in Astana. Can I just do a tour in the capital during my off days? And can I know the reason why you said not to change currency at the airport? And can I use my credit card for my expenses or should I need cash in hand for everything? Sorry for the barrage of questions
Hey 👋 just fyi I’ve not been to Astana. However, the reason I say never exchange currency at airports because the rate is shit and you loose money. There isn’t much to see in Astana. It will be dead dry winter. I doubt it even snows there. Hardly any beauty. Yes you can use credit cards almost everywhere.
Thanks a lot. If you have to go to Kazakhstan I must tell you that this is not the time to go. All the lakes are frozen. Roads are blocked and there is very little to do in the city of almaty

Hey the media has a habit of spreading negative news about a lot of countries such as South Africa, Romania, Kashmir and now Kazakhstan. Please don’t listen to all that rubbish. I did a solo trip to Almaty. Walked alone at 10pm to my hotel. There is not an ounce of truth in what you wrote. People are extremely friendly.

Is it suitable to travel at the starting of November
It might most likely be raining at that point. November is not the best time to visit. Season ends mid October.
Planning to visit in 1st/2nd week of may. What do you think? And u know any reliable group tour operator from india?
Sorry I’ve no idea of your operators in India. May is a great time to visit Kazakhstan.

Astana is almost in Siberia. Winter there is C O L D .
Hi miss do we get to see snow on may & also can you help me out with a local tour company
No snow in May. Dm me on Instagram for further assistance. @justgowithamreen

Hi ..loved your videos …
In January first week I am planning a trip with family with 3 yrs old daughter..
Is it safe …
Thanks a lot. If you have to go to Kazakhstan I must tell you that this is not the time to go. All the lakes are frozen. Roads are blocked and there is very little to do in the city of almaty
Please suggest the tour guide during those time

No I haven’t been to Aktau. Aktau is a 5 hour flight away from Almaty.
How about December..does it snow in Almaty..and is there any other problem than extreme cold
Nope. No other issues. Some roads may be blocked due to snow. That’s all

Yes it is a great.

April is an excellent time to visit. Weather is pleasant.
Hello, We are planning to visit Almaty from Dec 29 till 5th Jan with 3.5 year old kid. This will be her first experience with snow. What do you suggest? Are there any closures with respect to sightseeing activities in this time?
Hi Rajat you could expect some road closures due to heavy snowfall. But you can find ample snow in the city of Almaty as well.
I am planning to visit on aug month. Is it good month to visit? I need to carry any jerkin and all
Bad month to travel to any of Europe or Central Asia. It is not just hot it’s intense heat. But if you can’t manage any other month then what can I say.

I’m really not sure what month it’s the cheapest but off season is definitely what you can look at. Perhaps early March. End of November. Check this for itineraries Ideal Itinerary For Almaty | Trip To Almaty In 2023

Hey Thanks for the information ……….what about safety…..is it safe because I read some bad comments about Kazakhstan……like too much of pick pocket; theft and people are aggressive …….is it true?…….we want to go in Eid holidays…….please reply😊
You can perceive it otherwise but they’re just being nice. There is no aggression. Ofcourse in any country you go, you have to maintain some common sense and there is petty crime. But I didn’t experience anything like this. As for your trip during Eid, I’m actually hosting one from April 22-27. If you want to know more then send me a msg on Instagram. Same handle. @justgowithamreen
Thanks a lot for the reply😊
Can u plz suggest some good and reliable tour guides!??

I need a Tour Guide .. where to get the info
Please msg me on Instagram @justgowithamreen. I handle the trips and tours in Almaty. I can assist you.
I was thinking of cancelling my Kashmir trip and go to Kazakhstan during mid feb. Suggestions?
I’d rather do Kashmir. You can’t see or do much during Feb in Kazakh. Or push your trip to March.
Medical insurance or any other insurance is mandatory at Kazakhstan for tourist ?
Nope. No insurance is mandatory but ofcourse it’s ideal to have one.
Hi , as you have mentioned in the video .... can you help me find the best tour guide to roam around and explore places in kazakhstan

What's the best time when I can find snow, non frozen lakes and the views are good and are not foggy. Please suggest
That’s a trick question but I’d say beginning of the snow season. Early December. Big Almaty lake might still be frozen. It’s the coldest of the lot.
plan jan 12 th to 16 th i need your advice i booked ticket
Please dm me on Instagram @justgowithamreen and I’ll assist you.
Hey Amreen its Roushan Here,i am going to visit Kazakhstan on 14th March, how much warm clothes are required and what are the advice you can give me it will help me alot❤.
