Dont know if auto designers would ever understand the fact that rotary ac knobs are easier and safer than touch panels......
Good thing that VW is using buttons and knobs in the infotainment system, manual override option is always must for electronics and I find it hard to fathom why buttons are going away from infotainment setups coz if the touch panel fails or malfunctions, there’s just no way out for the passengers!
Also it's hard to press/use those electronic controls while on busy roads or bad roads!
Special mention: Faisal forgot to mention is the anti spinner in the wheels like Rolls-Royce which ensures the logo is always upright. In addition 2.0TSI dosent have “Evo”-Cylinder deactivation, Only available in 1.5TSI
The anti-spinner wheel logos are actually an add on and do not come as a standard factory issue. Think the set of 4 costs an additional 8000-9000.

2.0TSI doesn't have cylinder deactivation it's only for 1.4 and 1.5TSI

The Tiguan is a really great all around car but for a SUV a diesel engine is a must cause it just suits it's character more. Unless the petrol engine is a V8 or a high performance V6, a diesel is a diesel is a diesel.....
This is the reason why fortuner and innvoa are sweeping the suv segment.

If no diesel engine, then VW has to provide cylinder deactivation in order to compensate the better mileage offered by a Diesel

along with vlogs speaking about a car, please also do videos comparing cars among various aspects in different price ranges like 5-10L, 10-15L, 20-30L etc,. and update those series every 2-3 years or so.
Tiguan is a great car in my opinion and I really think 🧐 that rather than buying creta and seltos they should buy for many reasons
1. This is German so greet build quality and of course 5 star ⭐️ rating
2. As from my father less electronics so it will be easy to repair
3. Then smooth engine and not h/k’ (Hyundai and Kia ) rubbish vibrating engine
4. Comfy to drive and nice handling as well with features which the uk people actually like
5. Plus brand name you really feel rich when you own this car
Many points prove wrong. Let me tell you. 2 point you said less electronics easy to repair. Well you are not repairing the car and the mechanic repairs it😅. 3rd point you said volkswagen has smooth engine while Hyundai and Kia have rubbish vibrating engine. Well, as far as my knowledge concerns, I think only a Volkswagen can sound like a tractor while Hyundai group cars(includes Kia too) sounds so smooth even after 15 years.)I mean Volkswagen is unreliable. And in 5th point you said Volkswagen is a classic brand. Well, particularly in India or any country maybe, driving a Hyundai is seen upper class nowadays. In India too, people are buying only 20 lakh creta not less than that. But you will see not many Volkswagens on Indian roads. Driving a Volkswagen attracts not much attention. They are very plain and basic. People will observe your Volkswagen only when it is 6-7 years old. Because they make heavy tractor sounds 🤣🤣. I own a 17 yr old Hyundai Santro xing and a 2013 model Volkswagen Vento and quite I'm experienced with both of them.

It definitely feels premium and would definitely be fun to drive.
The pricing could have been a light less, considering it does not have Diesel engine which it's competitors offer.
But overall the car is really amazing and I really loved it.❤❤

I never expected why VM removed the Park Assist in Tiguan, am really upset about this feature and which is most important for every car, still do not understand why they removed the reverse parking assistance. the park assistance which is most important in reverse but which is removed,. VW can you pls let us know, why you have removed this facility.

Resale VALUE and maintenance cost
I have purchased my Taigun (V W) car fom Landmark company 16 months earlier.
There are some manufacturing faults in a car from day one.
I have complained several times with the company authorities but nk one is ready to listen me in a company.
Few faults that I found are these;
1. Driver side window is bouncing back while we try to close.
2. Sun screen going upwards when we close.
3. When we wash the car water is entering in side indicators.
4. Every car is providing spec's case inbuilt , but in this car there is no place in it.
5. At the time of purchase the car company claimed for minimum milage average wil be 14 km/ liter. But it is only 10 km/liter.
I am very much worried and upset by purchasing such a faulty car with very much high price.
Company has made me very foolish.
