People have argued over which type of mixer is best since the first digital mixer was released. Maybe some folks were missing the perspective required to make the best decision for them. Either way, I hope the information in this presentation serves useful to anyone interested.

I have enjoyed your content for a while now. Very useful and informative videos.
    I have a question:
I've always heard that analog mixers have a particular "sound". Due to their circuitry, some iconic boards have been known for their unique or recognizable "sound" such as old Neves, modern SSL boards, and API.
I want to know from you, Is the SAME true for smaller format analog mixers from brands like Yamaha, Soundcraft and Tascam?
Also, if there is a such thing as an esthetically pleasing sound from smaller mixers just as large format ones, is that also true for digital mixers?
I see some artists, engineers and producers use analog mixers for summing in attempts for what's described as a richer sound.
But I haven't seen that attempt done using digital mixers. It's it because digital mixers don't have the analog components?
    Thank you for reading.
Looking forward to more of your content.

To answer the last question in your comment, I would say "Yes". Since analog was the first recording technology, we got used to it first and it was the standard for a long time. I and many others grew up listening to it. I remember when I heard my first digital recording, which was when CDs first came out. I thought, Wow! This is so different, clean and sparkly because I grew up listening to vinyl albums and tapes. To me that always sounded warmer and richer. The technology architecture really does make a big difference, especially if you've been alive long enough to know what music was like before digital. That's just my take. Thanks for watching and sharing. 👍🏿

    Thank you for your information
I want to touch the mouse as little as possible. Me I want a mixer audio interface and DAW controller all in one to make that happen. I was looking at the Presonus digital live mixers. I just subscribed and now going back to see if you did a video on them.

I don't understand your question? All mixers are not digital but may have digital features/functionality such as an MTR and SD card feature. Tascam MODEL 24 is a great example. Thanks for watching. 👍🏿

@@PowercoatMusic cool. I am not against it I love it I wish I could put most people that use it should be the king of things that they can’t cause some people say I have to buy a $16,000 unit that’s not true it’s because of families had a computer since they were born so that’s $2000 if I never had one then buying a zoom is smart
