That resin really makes what could look like a failed project, really POP! Beautiful results! Imagine telling people you give rocks to people for presents! They would think you were nuts..... until they see rocks like THESE! Thank you for showing!
I love these. To keep from wasting excess paint, I'd put a canvas underneath the stone and little cup and get 6 small or 1 medium size painting to sell.
Stunning! But I would want to paint the bottom side too, and save all the paint dripping down into a bowl for dipping other rocks or pebbles. Can't wait to have a play around with these ideas. Thank you, for your creativity.
I have seen on some similar rock painting videos that you put a painting canvas underneath the rocks before you pour . . . the excess paint decorates the canvas underneath in much the same way as it did the rocks . . . when you finish painting the rocks, you pick up the canvas and tilt it in different directions to get the excess paint to flow . . . so not only do you have an interesting painted rock, but you also have a piece of acrylic design on canvas to hang on your wall.
I've have actually tried this and it was alot of fun...painted lady bugs with my granddaughters for the garden !!! WHOO HOOO FROM CALIFORNIA !!!JOHHNY AND CANDY WHAT!!!!!
I love rock painting, you have some wonderful ideas. Very often before I resin the rocks I will put a sticker of some kind, maybe with an encouraging word, or small positive attention getter. I also participate in Art Abandonment, which is the international group of artists that share their artwork anonymously by leaving them in public places, restaurants, sidewalks, walking trails, any place that's legal. It's a lot of fun to know that your artwork is bringing joy to others!
I don't use even a tenth of the paint you do for a pour, looks very wasteful! But mine are very popular and sell very well. I mention this because some people can't spend a lot on materials, but folks try your own ways in your art!! You'll be surprised!! Best wishes to all!!👍😍❤️
Your rocks are just beautiful! Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us. I also put either a ceramic tile or a canvas underneath the rocks as I'm pouring the paint so that they can be collected and make a second piece of art. Less wasted paint.
So beautiful! To take a plain old rock and make it look so colorful is great. In the 70s, i taught a summer class of students but we painted rainbows and trees, etc. Really wish we had had these tools at hand but THANKS SO MUCH for the tutorial!😊👍💙🧡
What you are doing is a very good idea.If it were me, I would place stones in flowing paints under the main stone I paint.thus, the underflowing paints would have been painted on different stones while being valued. Thanks so much
I love the video! I had watch it twice, once for the rocks and another for all the different pours the rocks made on the mat. I loved the ring pour rock 5 created. I would love see how they would look on canvas.
So cool Titkus. You have inspired again. I like them all, but the last one I like best because they are my favorite colors. Glad the purple and yellow stayed pure, no brown. That I could see anyway. Tfs. Be safe.
Yes me too!! I love how #1 and #5 came out their colors are ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!! The epoxy resin finish is what makes the colors of the rocks really pop!! Love it!! 😊🌹🎨🖌️
Wonderful stones. :) If you want to save color, you can put the stones in wire baskets that you hang over another object you want to color. A canwas or a tile perhaps. Would be fun to see if you can make it work. Own tiles behind the stove would have been unique. ;)
1....put the upside down cup on a canvas. When pouring is finished remove the cup and stone to try elsewhere. 2 .. With remaking Paint on Canvas. Tilt the canvas in 4 directions 3 when dry.. Varnish 4 you have.. Created a painted stone and canvas Amazing 🎉❤
This was pretty cool! You may have already done this, but it would be cool to use the rock painting in this video on a canvas. Then there could be a painting over a shelf or short book case and the rocks could be book ends, around a plant (potted or in water), or just coordinated decoration. The blue one is my favorite :)
That resin really makes what could look like a failed project, really POP! Beautiful results! Imagine telling people you give rocks to people for presents! They would think you were nuts..... until they see rocks like THESE! Thank you for showing!
Ordinary stones get glamour with brainy ideas
Congrats
Beautiful to watch. Add felt bottom to rock and create a paperweight. Lovely gift, that would ''rock'' someone's world!

Ide have it over a canvas or use epoxy mixed with the paint to make a two fer piece
Hù J
I could have painted 10 times the amount of rocks with all the paint you used! I liked the first and the last rocks the best.

👍👍👍💯💯💯🇦🇿

I’ve never tried the pour painting because it just seems like such a waste money using all that paint.
how much do you use? Id like to try this on a ceramic mushroom from dollar tree but i dont want to waste a ton of paint
Put a canvas panel underneath to catch the drops.
Put a canvas underneath and create more art.
Your rocks are just beautiful! Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us.

Great! I've had this in mind to do for a couple of years. Just didn't get around to it yet. Thanks for the push to get on and do it.
What you are doing is a very good idea.If it were me, I would place stones in flowing paints under the main stone I paint.thus, the underflowing paints would have been painted on different stones while being valued. Thanks so much
I've done some just with a base coat then resin and alcohol ink, very easy and quick dry overnight-thanks for the info
Yes, that's exactly what I was thinking 👍😉
Oui ! j'ai pensé la même chose !! 👍

Thank you for this video, it is wonderful. I really enjoyed it.

Real magic! You made semiprecious stones out of pebbles! Great idea for decorating !!!
I love the video! I had watch it twice, once for the rocks and another for all the different pours the rocks made on the mat. I loved the ring pour rock 5 created. I would love see how they would look on canvas.
Funktioniert genau so!!
FANTASTICO .Gracias. Montevideo Uruguay .
I would make use of the dripping paint by incl pebbles underneath the stones as too much paint wasteage for my linking…lovely stones tho! 😍
So cool Titkus. You have inspired again. I like them all, but the last one I like best because they are my favorite colors. Glad the purple and yellow stayed pure, no brown. That I could see anyway. Tfs. Be safe.
I like the first and last ones. Those drippings would make great skins for jewelry.
Interesting overall; but I really like the colors of the first rock and the outcome of the fifth, best. Thanks!
Yes me too!! I love how #1 and #5 came out their colors are ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!! The epoxy resin finish is what makes the colors of the rocks really pop!! Love it!!

Not only the designs on the rocks are beautiful, the drips beneath are as well.

Por favor en español.
Hai ragione! Ottima idea 💡
I have the 3 prong pizza box………..stands for use, upside down, to hold the rock. Less missed space
THIS IS A GREAT IDEA!! Thank You so Much for Sharing!!!
I use them for dollhouse furniture
Great tip!
Absolutely beautiful. ❤
Lots of paint wasted. But the finish product is worth it. Thanks for sharing the video.
With children, you'd better control the numbers of colors. They tend to use many.
😁👍👏👏
Saludos.
I’m a rock hound, so this is my cup of tea!

inspiration ... très beau .. merci du partage ...
Love it so beautiful technique ❤😊
I did pour painting on stones with m6 grandson today. Used kids paint and kids glue with water. Even got a few cells
Can't wait to Rick pour. Looks like a blast of fun!
Mais que c'est beau ! L'idée m'était aussi venu à l'esprit, là, suis définitivement convaincue !! Magique ! 👋🏼😍🎨👍🏼

My thoughts exactly. I was thinking how some of those patterns under the rock were really cool.

Pensei no mesmo e seria o ideal👍🏼
Sabe que tinta é essa
Quel quantité de couleurs perdues ! Quel dommage mais c'est très joli ❤
Oui!!! 👍😍
Amazing! Have you tried spinning them? Or...adding moss before the resin? So many directions. Gotta go....have to find some rocks 💜
Like the moss idea! Thanks.
Grandios! Wird sofort probiert. Danke!
