We used to do busted ass shit in 99-2002 where when i'd wear shoes with tongue straps, i'd clip then tongue to the top laces with a safety pin or something. I tucked my laces in too so it worked pretty well.

My only beef with these is that toecap doesnt go down the middle like the og, but other than that it seems like a more than decent shoe for the price

I'm currently skating the DC Nets and I'm seeing a lot of similarities for sure... Stuff another insole in yours as they offer no impact protection. Tongue shouldn't slip out and they're gonna rip the fastest at the stitching around the top eyelet.
Got new insoles and super gluing the stitching. Hopefully it helps

so as an aussie who just bought these and finds baggy pants kinda hard to come by, and mostly wear some sorta loose fitting cargos from kmart that don't quite cover these and ride up on them a little bit, i might be relegating these to when i wear my DC baggy worker jeans, i wish i knew how to request product ideas because i'd be requesting cargo pants and chinos of the same fit
it's also a bit weird, i bought these coming off a pair of penzas and my kmart cargos fit perfectly over those, the lynx zero looks to be just as wide in direct comparison, or at least not much different, so i dunno why my pants have a harder time with them, i'm guessing it comes down to them being a bit puffier?

Soles feel good so far. Nothing like the og besides some similar paneling, but I haven't taken them off since I got them. Still need to skate them though

I had to be late to the party so all the signature series stuff (the sole looks like a old school Nike sole) are well over $100 now that makes me mad because DC doesnt manufacture a whole lot but.....
I have to lash back a little though that hes griping about a $65 pair a shoes..... I grew up on $10 and $20 shoes from Walmart, Kmart, and Payless shoes. I came from a lower-mid class family. My dad worked his butt off and we didnt live nearly as comfortable, but $65 is a GOOD SHOE! Thats a GREAT SHOE! Kind of a spoiled brat response. Is there more expensive shoes? Sure is, but thats Nike shoes that suck. The sole is just glued on (not glued and stitched) and youre paying for all the athletes that endorse the shoe. Nike are way overpriced and SUCK!
So, now I gotta know what a good shoe is and what it costs. Whats this mystery shoe. You also realize your hobby drags your shoes along concrete (rough concrete) that shreds your shoes. A pair of nikes would be destroyed within three days for a hardcore aggressive skater that DC, Vans, Converse, etc last so much longer. Timberland boots are expensive but, good luck skatin in that shit.
$65 or not, that’s a no from me dawg.
