Thanks joe. Was looking for affordable houses where it’s not too far from Tampa or from Orlando as I do my own jobs in both. This info was very helpful
Nice work. A lot of people I work with in Citrus County come from brooksville, I was curious why, especially since you'd think they'd be going to tampa for the better paying jobs. hmm I suppose they prefer the more laid back environment of citrus despite the lower pay.
Hey everyone here! Watching Videos about other Housing options in North FL , wanting to settle somewhere peaceful and less expensive when I reach age 62 .
The comment about commuting to Tampa is true, but time wise you're looking at an hour on a perfectly clear day/night, and closer to 75-90 minutes on a regular day.
I like the idea of a quiet, laid-back town that's an hour or less to a large city. I prefer the quiet life, but it would be nice to have the option to make a day trip to Tampa or Orlando for an afternoon adventure.
Little more insight on the small town I was born in. That big Oak Tree out front of the Courthouse has a very dark history, back in the 1800's it was used for hangings, and its supposed to be the most hangings in the country of slaves. Brooksville was one of the biggest slave towns in the country. Despite the towns beautiful hills and woods all over its dark history is really hard to forget.
Love this guy introduction! He is also very cute. ❤
Thank you this was very Informative!🎉
Welcome back Joe
Thanks! Hope you enjoy the new tours.
That was the fastest town tour I’ve ever watched 😂😂 Thanks 🙌🏻

Check out Frostproof Florida someday,an interesting place.
I was raised in Brooksville. Left in 1987. It's changed alot.
So you wouldn't recommend moving there? I have been thinking about moving over there. What changed so much that made you wanna move?

It's getting pretty crazy, the growth is outpacing the roads.
