It's Firewire of course it's magic how else would you get fire into a wire.
The hardest part is getting in then it's just a matter of desoldering and resoldering in a new battery.
I've just uploaded the video of me doing this. Was a lot easier than I thought it'd be
FireWire is 12V DC vs the 5V DC that USB has to offer
