I wish, personally, that the doctors who help with ptsd would not rely so heavily on meds; and look for other forms of therapy. My veteran pal had terrible reactions to the meds he took; he was not keen on them but it seemed there were no alternatives... I have no idea what alternatives might be available but it might be worth having a look around for instance meditation? sports? yoga? prayer? different diet; say stopping booze and sugar... I know one therapist got the young vets jogging and another told me meditation was better than any med.
The presence of trudeau tarnishes the solemnity and respect from what should be the most important ceremony in our country. While everyone else stands, heads bowed, he finds a camera to nod to.
