Cooking Oil for frying
Cempedak (Fruits)
Banana (Pisang Awak)
Ingredients for batter
1/2 cup of Wheat Flour
1/2 cup of Rice Flour
1 tsp of Salt
1 tsp of Baking Powder
1/2 a tsp of Turmeric Powder
1/2 cup of Water
1 tbsp of Cooking Oil

May I know why need to add little bit of corn flour before start frying?
It’s to prevent oil frm splashing especially when there are traces of moist/ water. Or like when frying egg, sprinkling some corn flour will create a crispy skin on the outer layer of the egg white

Just sprinkle them in the hot oil will do
What other type of banana can use pls?
Best is pisang awak n pisang raja. Other pisang will hv abit of sourish taste after frying but still can use other pisang.
Wow .. You refresh my memory . I haven't have a chance to taste chempedak for a very long time cos I miss the season when I visited Malaysia .. Which month is chempedak fruiting ?
Around June - July. But these days, it’s hard to predict the fruits season due to weather and all. 🤭
