Imagine how we all felt in 1997 when we heard this record for the first time. We were sad and ecstatic at the same time. Eargasms all over the country.
As someone who graduated in 95 who grew up with all of this, it’s refreshing to watch the younger generations listen to and appreciate the music we grew up with.
This was a different time in music. They will never make music as good as this again. It makes you appreciate it even more now a days hearing it again after all these years. I was a teenager when this song came out and it still hits hard.
Biggie the best rapper to ever touch the mic. It brightens my day seeing ppl who missed out on older rap, for whatever reason, thoroughly enjoy this shit. Hip hop in its prime was unstoppable.
She's in love with you bro, I swear to God 😂❤️ No girl reacts like your girl when you say anything, that's love bro ❤ greetings from Medellín Colombia 🇨🇴
That line when Bizzy said "Triple six rivals spitting fire..." Gets pass a lot of people. Back then, they were beefing with Three 6 Mafia (and Do or Die, Crucial Conflict, and Twista). So he was saying that Bone ( as Three 6 Mafia's rivals) were spitting fire.
It wasnt a coincidence, he was clearly throwin' a shot at 3-6 at the time...but I understand what you mean. I feel the Verzuz might open up some old wounds. lol

Bone Thugs have always been my favorite hip hop performers. Thuggish Ruggish Bone, First of the Month, Look Into My Eyes and Crossroads are a must. Thug Luv is their collaboration with 2 Pac and is also a must.
It’s good to see young people like y’all really respecting the greats like B.I.G and Bone. This album came out when I was a senior in high school back in ‘97. Used to get high to this song and just ride the streets of Oakland. Big ups to y’all for respecting true hip hop 1OVE and Blessings
The 90’s was such a amazing time to grow up … every genre of music was knockin hits out of the park one after another non stop … this song hits so damn hard it just never gets old … brings tears to my eyes hearing now ..
I'm so fortunate to have been living through that era. I miss it so damn much. Much love to my Bone Thugs. 💯 up on that East 99 album though, check it out.
I remember basically every car in Atlanta bumping Bone thug and harmony thuggish ruggish bone song when it first came out. You literally couldn't not hear that in a car passing for more than 5 minutes.
This is top rap/hip hop track of all time, the production is timeless, bizzy verse is like nothing else. Been listening to it for like 15 years, haven't heard anything even close to this level since. You're going to come out of these reactions a die hard bone fan no doubt.
When this was made in the studio. Bone thugs did all there versus first and Biggie was like 'I gotta take shit home' so bone thugs didn't even get to hear the song until the album came out bcuz Biggie had died.
Bizzy Bone the 2nd raooer after Biggie did his verse in one take. Biggie had to go home and redo his verse to adapt to Bone style and he did a good job with it!!!
This is my era of music and miss it so much. One of the things I love about Bones Thug songs is the harmonies they add to them. I also agree they all are so different and that adds another layer to them. Great reaction guys.
Imagine when you were old enough when this first came out. Still have this song in my playlist. 2022 still thumping this song. These legends went off on this track.
Bone has they own genre so much more then hiphip and rap. No artist is like them unless they using they flows to copy they style they brought. So many rappers today used they stuff. Artist wasn't singing and rolling the touches like bone thru the whole song.
Yo this song straight gas. I suggest reacting to Thuggish Ruggish Bone aswell. I’m also a big Metallica fan but I love what you guys are doing with the channel🤘🏻
Early on with Bone I was just into the melodies and the way they flowed was so cool and original, but once I really started listening and could break down what they were actually saying, I realized this was the most talented rap group in history. They are underrated because their flow was so fast and most of the time it doesn't sound like they're saying real words, but once you get the lyrics and follow along like they're doing in this clip, you will see what I realized over 20 years ago, that they are one of the greatest ever.
I seen Bone Thugs in Concert 4 times back in the 90's and went to 1 after party where I got to hang out with them...Very cool guys!! Strong ass weed too! haha

Aye, got the Cleveland boyz goin. This brings me back man. Bone and Biggie was nearly on repeat. Those two and Crucial Conflict with “Hay”. I remember recording that mess off the radio. 😂 Check that one out too. It’s legit mid 90’s rap.
From what I’ve heard, everything from Bone in this song was one take, and Big was in the studio when they laid it down and he already had his verse written. But he was so impressed, he had to go back home and rewrite his part. Supposedly, he died before he could get it to Bone himself. The first time Bone heard Biggie’s verse he was already dead. They were supposedly shocked because nobody had ever heard Biggie rap fast before. The story still gets me emotional to this day.
