Spies: angry and edgy or simply misunderstood?
it's a 50/50, some skilled spies embrace the edge/weeb shit, but there are others who recognize that they are good, and that it is more rage or respect-inducing when your loadout isn't cringey.
you should play spy more often to offset the amount of weeaboos that think they're mrswipez

I had this the other day. Finally playing spy, with this loadout, and right at the start of Dustbowl second defense, I got a 5 stab. It can't be spy experience, so maybe pure TF2 experience helps awaken your inner Mr. Paladin.

Making 11:03 make sense:
In game, player model rotation isn't accurate to where the enemies are actually facing, and how backstabs are registered (even though they're still clientside (kind of)). The failstab at 11:07, the heavy had already turned enough around for the stab to miss, at 11:08 (intentionally or not) the sentry jostled you around while the medic thought you'd stay next to the cart, and at 11:09, the demo was looking at your medic but saw you strafe to the left, so he tries to do a 180 to the left to look at where you _were,_ unintentionally opening himself up to the stab. You can see that before you stabbed him, the knife was raised for a little while, his back was open before he even looked like he turned. Spy as a class opens up a whole lot when you get a better sense of how backstabs actually work, and becomes much more fun. While backstabs are _far_ from rng, they're definitely not intuitive, which is why people think spies get chainstabs on accident. If b4nny learnt how to chain, it would be so incredibly hype

Always funny to see spy mains rushing in to write nerd essays whenever someone calls out how the class is fundamentally lackluster, which is true regardless of gimmicks
