Hey Guys! 3 Things

2) Yes, the camera inside the folding display is not great.... I've used it, no one has outright told me it was awful (on zoom, Google Duo), but it's not great. But useable!
3) Battery section corrupted mid-editing so I just cut it to get this out to you guys in time. Basically, 14-15 hour days on the battery on LTE/5G the entire time (our wifi has been disconnecting constantly). Fewer hours with a lot of gaming of course, but Really impressed by the battery life!

Just got my Fold today. I've been with Apple since iPhone 3, when they announced the iPhone 14 I told myself "enough is enough, same phone different specs every single freaking year!"
I've asked myself why haven't I've been with Samsung a long time ago, things feel so much better.

Same here on being a iphone user...I upgraded to the Z Fold2 5G 2yrs ago and it was the best decision I made when it comes to smartphones...the Multi-tasking on the Folds is INCREDIBLE especially be a self-employed computer tech...I did get the Z Fold4 5G 1tb this yr and kept my Z Fold2 5G...they are both solid devices and the battery on my z Fold2 is like new unlike the iPhones in the past..

Smoothest review so far. Finding it hard to put this phone down! Coming from 13 pro and iPhone seems boring after using the fold. Hoping to hang on to the fold 4 for a while

The 13 Pro is honestly a really good phone. But I definitely hear You that it just doesn't have anything on the Fold 4 in terms of everyday usability/flexibility.

thanks for this update man. I've had my fold 4 a couple weeks and its been really good so far. Coming from the s22u I really really really miss the 100x zoom. Not for the 100x but for those really crisp and clean 20/30x shots. So far that has been my main losing point but I'm still enjoying the phone! #HorseEmoji again

And YES. coming from the Pixel 6 Pro, I kiss the quality of that telephoto lens and the DEEEEP zooming. Especially true on the S22U!
I have my Fold4 now. Coming from the S22U, I do miss its camera quality also. But the form factor on the Fold is amazing.
Am coming from an S21 Ultra and i really miss the crisp 10-30x zooms

@@DavidAVelez1 I love my Flip 3 don't get me wrong, its a great phone with an amazing design. The only downside is I cant get as much use out of the cover screen as I would like. Maybe that is something Samsung can change with future updates. The Flip 4 is too similar to the Flip 3 to entice an upgrade in my opinion. I personally think the Z-fold line up will align better with my needs, lets see what the Z-Fold 5 looks like!
Got lucky purchasing an immaculate second hand Z Fold 3 for 1150 AUD. Slowly adapting to Android as a decade old Apple user. So far so good and Z-Lovin it!

Wallpaper please, love the video watching off of my Fold 4 which I am currently enjoying a lot right now coming from a iPhone 13 Pro Max. I use both mainly because I'm in the apple ecosystem so somethings I have to have but if I had to choose I would take the Fold 4 all day!

Just wanted to say that I almost always just listen to UA-cam videos but your review style, the music, and the visuals especially made me actually watch. Great work! I’m so excited to get my Fold 4 in a few days. I’m coming from an iPhone XS Max so any upgrade, and especially a foldable, is huge. I even did some research and figured out that I can get iMessage working on my Fold by buying a cheap Mac mini and forwarding iMessages from my Apple ID! That honestly was the biggest thing preventing my switch to Android as literally everyone I know owns an iPhone haha
I have a flip and need to know which one is cooler fold or flip cause I'm getting either one. I was surprised to find out my phone will trade in cutting 700 bucks off the price of what I will get. So I will be paying just about 400 dollars

I love that I can go from Phone - To MiniTablet with more real-estate which has already been immensely helpful these last two weeks.
But my said she would prefer the Flip because she wants her phone to take of LESS room and because it's "kind of cute, and more pocketable", haha! So definitely your pick.

I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max this has been my daily driver since It's launch, I also had a Galaxy Note 20 Ultra that I loved! But decided to sell it so I could possibly have some money for a new device. I also used to have the first edition Galaxy fold, but using It didn't feel premium, the hinge mechanism felt weird, I only noticed this after trying the Z Fold 2 at my local Samsung Experience store, I really am torn on either getting the iPhone 14 Pro Max that just launched or the Galaxy Z Fold 4. I really like foldables but something Is telling me the battery life is going to be not so good on the Z Fold 4, I would at least hope to achieve 6-7 hours of screen on time on the Fold 4. I don't think I would also like a big pill in the top of my screen either but I know that apple is a battery champ, I don't do any gaming, mainly UA-cam or browsing Reddit, reading email and checking the news are what I do and on occasion watch some movies. I like your video style! It's very chill and friendly like a friend is talking to me haha! :)

And it is definitely amazing how much Samsung has been able to iterate and refine the folding mechanism and premium feel of the device! I am so glad that they doubled down on the product and have continued to push the device!
And I would definitely agree the IPhone 14 series is going to have better battery life but if You don't game at all and just do normal browsing, reddit, youtube, you'll be able to get most of a day of battery (in my experience). Like 5.5-6 hours of SOT, or like 15-17 hours on battery for the day.

Another thing. I'm coming from the Galaxy Note 4 ❤. (Yes loved that phone.) The Z Fold 4 S Pen seems less responsive than my Note 4 😔 Were you an S pen user before? And have you noticed a change in s pen performance?

I SPen feels MARGINALLY less responsive, but not enough that it impacts my productivity, nor paperwork signing with clients
I think it'll be slightly less responsive in the crease part of the screen as there is no actual digitizer there and they simply use AI and signals from both panels to calculate and predict where your pen is.

Every year people review phones for their camera not the actual phone...you're buying a phone not a DLSR camera. Its like if the phone is great and feature rich, it will get shit on cause of not so great camera performance

Thanks for uploading it in HDR. I will not usually go for Samsung but the Fold can be my 2nd device after my 14 Pro Max. I love the HDR on the MacBook Pro and my iPhone
I love the HDR! My IPad doesn't always export in HDR the way I want it to, but I'm switching to a MacBook soon which will fix a number of problems haha.
The Fold is truly a wonderful experience. If you give it a shot, I hope you like it as much as I do!

Hey, Gman! The brown leather one is definitely my favorite for pure aesthetic purposes! The red wine and green as second favorites for looks, but after using them I'm not a fan of having to open the "folio" to use the front screen constantly

The life companion? Bruh lol nice video though. I will say this I have the fold 4 as well and I love it especially considering it is my first fold ever. Here are some things that stand out to me as far as concerning. The HEAT this phone beats up like crazy. I have it plugged in my car for android auto and I actually shut it off due how hot it got, also gaming is nice and all BUT do not play apex legends on this phone for some reason it looks like crap. It is def not optimized for this phone. I would love to take this phone on a run since I'm an avid runner but I'll never do That too much sweat and heat I'm scared will ruin this phone. But overall I love this phone oh one more thing that from in display camera is laughable. I see no point what so ever for that camera.

And INTERESTING! The most heat I have noticed so far is on Yugioh Master Duel, it definitely drums up heat. But noted, I will not play Apex Legends on it 😂
Running with it has been fine so far thankfully! But I definitely understand the concern there, I get some anxiety over what to do with it and not sometimes too haha.
Annnndddd rrriiiigghhhttt. That inside camera is not good. No one has told me (On Zoom and Duo) that it's bad or they had a hard time seeing me, but most avid phone people like yourself can tell it's bad haha

1) Night time photography/night time really disappointed in my usage
2) Front screen COULD be wider but it hasn't hindered my day to day use, personally. I use it as a normal phone really often with good result. The extra width has helped a ton, but it objectively could be wider.
Those are honestly my initial negatives so far. I'm sure I'll find more overtime but those are the main two!
