I just received mine a week ago and it was amazing!!!! I too was curious how often the blade should be changed. Someone told me that the blade can be sharpened too. 😊
Hi Denise! I used your link and bought one for me. I haven't used it yet due to a hip replacement but it's nce I'm up and running in can't wait to try it. Anything besides chemical stripping. Thank you for all of your "salvaged inspirations." 🙃
It doesn't take much muscle at all. In fact start softer than you think because if you push too hard it can gouge the wood. I think you're going to love it Lila 👍
I've seen that you can sharpen the blades by rubbing them flat, with lubrication, on a diamond sharpening stone.

Thanks for this! I also heard it can be sharpened so that’s awesome!!!

Thanks Cheryl!!! 🤗 I can’t wait to hear what you think once you get a chance to try it! Take care 💕
Just bought one two weeks ago but have not tried it. After this video looks like I should be ok doing it. Was worried it might take too much muscle.

Yo llevo muchas horas usándolo y sigue funcionado muy bien. La cuchilla se puede dar la vuelta al otro lado y también se puede afilar
No sabía que la cuchilla se podía girar y funcionar mejor, ¡así que muchas gracias!
Does it leave dents?
It can... especially if you're working with soft woods. You don't want to put too much pressure on it or bang it down on the wood.
never carbide is so much harder than steel that against timber it will last indefenantly
