Director's Note:
6 years ago, my friends and I made a little machinima based off of the movie, Black Hawk Down. Little did we know that it was going to accrue over 1 million views and catapult my channel to over 10,000 subscribers. After many GTA V updates which added many of the guns, weapons, vehicles, and clothing that we lacked back then, I really wanted to make a new adaptation, this time with my own, much better story, and far better editing. After making the sets for this over a year ago, we finally decided to make it happen. And...man.... this one was a pain to film with just 3 people. Rockstar does very little to help out machinima creators already and we did what we could with creator mode, director mode, and the rockstar editor. Remind me never to film with these helicopters again...lol...

Story:
A brutal warlord vies for control over a desolate coastal city. US forces are sanctioned to raid his compound and eliminate the warlord by any means necessary. Resistance is heavier than expected, and when a black hawk helicopter is taken down, the mission quickly turns into a fight for survival.

Hey guys, this video and my channel as a whole has "blown up" again recently and I wanted to clarify a few things here.
1.) This is made entirely on console; meaning NO Mods or Add-ons. Everything you see was created by rockstar. I created each "set" using the creator mode and myself, and my two friends were the only people involved in making this happen. Keep that in mind if you question why we didn't do certain things.
2.) This is my own story inspired by the movie Black Hawk Down; not the actual events. It is also meant as a "recreation" of my viral black hawk down movie from years ago.

My grandpa joined Delta in the late 70s and stayed in for a while he trained the Delta boys and knew em personally too.

First, lets talk about the time and effort. As a UA-camr and video editor, i know what it takes to put up 3mins video on UA-cam. That could take whole lots of hours just for people to watch in just 3mins. I wonder what type of efforts contributed to make this whole 40mins video😭😭. At some point of watching, it got me in tears. Other gta v movies on UA-cam is 3mins, 5mins and 10mins at most. This is the first video i'm watching on this channel. And i must say something bro; you real killed the show🙌🙌. Hey I was having a little mess around in creator making a capture because I want to do something like this and I was wondering if you could explain how the ai and vehicles work such as how they drive how you control when they get in and out and how to make them a passenger. Also loved the camera work and editing on this it was amazing
Well the only way you can make them actually drive is to make them neutral and then make them mad and they will chase you. As for how I made them passengers, the order that you place them in a vehicle depends on their seat. So the first is the driver. What you have to do is make the driver neutral and the rest of the passengers friendly. Then you rip the driver out and you can drive your npc filled car. I hope this helps 🙏

Only one thing to nit pick - The copter has both Marines and United States Army on the door and fuselage. Seeing they are two separate branches of the military....well you get the idea...

Hello, I have a question: What do you use to control multiple characters or cars? Scene director mode? If so, I use it, but unfortunately it does not comply with the directions of the scene I created, it breaks down and does not work as I want. Note: I am using the latest version of GTA 5. I wonder if the mod only works properly on older versions? Which version of GTA 5 are you using?
Hey man, I am actually on console so everything you see is either player controlled or npcs I spawned using the built in creator mode using capture jobs. If you have any questions about mods, please check out @Whanowa as he makes phenomenal tutorials for machinima making with mods.

@yenimezgame125 That is just clever camera work. We have to film the scene multiple times using different angles and vehicles because there is only 3 of us. The movie is made with the clever editing tricks. Thanks for watching!

Well you'll need a few friends. The more the better. Then you load up the creator mode and make your sets, I made 20 for this film, and place your ai, (if you've never done this it takes forever to learn), then you film your scenes with your friends, and then comes pulling it together with editing. Anything specific you think you'd need help with?

I used director mode for the shot of the commander. Everything else was npcs spawned in in custom creator mode jobs made by me

Me too lmao. The problem is on the series X, it crashes during every export over like 5 minutes if you use fidelity graphics so I had to settle with performance rt.

This wasn't a recreation, it was my own story inspired by black hawk down as a movie. I also only had 2 body actors and am on console, so there is literally no way to show Malaysian forces considering I don't have mods.

Man this wasn't an attempt to Recreate actual events. I was just using inspiration to make my own story. There is no possible way to show Malaysian forces in GTA V considering I have no mods.

Hey @icygaming20 I need help. And it involves Rockstar Editor. When I made that video, The Title still remains. It never vanishes during the beginning of the video it still remained. And I don't want the titles to appear everytime when I do my GTA Series. When I was making videos on PS4 and Rockstar Editor. The title always vanishes for 5 seconds. But when I made my video on the PS5. The title still remains throughout the rest of the video. So How do I get rid of it?
With that I am not too sure. Have you tried exporting it again? Sounds like a glitch to me.
