    I had a VTR back in the day, the dream was always a vts but never did it. Epic track car though. I own an fk2 Type r and would still have one of these as a project track toy.👍🏼

    • @paulm114
      @paulm114 6 років тому +1

      Same as you. I had a VTR for 7 years back in the day and it was a decent car. Moved on to an EP3 which I had 11 years and now 14 months in FK2 ownership. EDIT: just noticed you videos and I recognise the FK2 Craig. ;)

    • @driventofightuk
      @driventofightuk 6 років тому

      VTEC FK2 R I’ve still got my ep3 too! I’ve turned into a bit of a Honda fan boy ha ha. But would deffo still have a vts. Only sold mine as my little lad came along and saw too many pictures of them crashed and really like standing on a coke can!😳

    • @paulm114
      @paulm114 6 років тому +1

      Yeah I wouldn't want to have had a crash in one. I looked up my old one on the GOV MOT status page and it hasnt been MOT'd since 2012 so I guess its written off now. I did see it failed numerous MOT's after I got rid of it due to having no CAT on it. Obviously bought and modified by a boy racer haha.

      VTEC FK2 R The day I spotted mine I followed it in the snow and crashed my Leon cupra!😂 But when I’ve looked I think it’s dead now. RIP

    this is the type of shit I like to see man. When I was waiting on a new engine coming in for my fiesta, I bought a run around and I got a corsa, but who ever owned it kept it looking amazingly-new, but it had some slight mods, but it made it look very sporty. I still try and use it to just boot around, as it can take it. I migjht look in to buying something like this too. good idea man!

      Danny boy DJB bro they have 120bhp from a 1.6... the ST has a 2.0. you're a fucking idiot. Tuned up the VTS can get to 135-40 bhp that's only 10bhp off the st150 and it has a 400cc smaller engine and is much lighter.

    Why not mate, live the dream.
    I recently bought a 2003 Citroen C2 GT because back in my early 20s I wanted one and couldn't afford one. Now I'm nearly 40 and one came up for £500, why the hell not. Absolute hoot, that stupidly high red line.

    Nice little project car. Cheap parts too. I have a 307 xsi tip run car and it's near mint despite being over 15 years old. Non oem parts are dirt cheap eg, drivers master switch window controller in the door, £280 at peugeot, £12.99 on ebay. Boot switch 4.50 delivered on ebay, 60 at peugeot. Had a peugeot 205 gti 1.9 which was great and even better when lowered and modded to 170bhp

    love it! I often get called a chavette for driving my 106 but owned it for so long now, could never get rid as new cars just don't feel right, no steering feel. mines 141,000 miles and I got it at 54k and it hits rev limiter daily and you are right about the prices, 5k, 6k+. it is actually a shame how much hate you get for choosing a car you actually like, to be honest why people even go out of their way to leave a nasty comment :') shows more about the kind of person they are!
