Before I read Daisy Jones & The Six I’d heard that the audiobook was the way to experience it (the same as with Anxious People) and they were correct! You get different voices for every character, and each one has its own very distinct personality, which I think was probably the main reason I loved it, though not as much as Evelyn Hugo; let’s be real: no book will ever top Evelyn Hugo.
I was hesitant about Malibu Rising, but now I am definitely going to give it a chance!
Ye the audiobook for Daisy Jones is definitely a good one, that’s how I read it too! Hope you enjoy Malibu Rising when you get to it!

I had a fun time reading this book even if there were things I didn’t love. I also preferred the first half and I’m not sure I like fully got on board with the resolution at the end but it was fun and memorable!
First half was definitely the best part

I just finished this book last night. I hated Daisy Jones and LOVED Evelyn Hugo and I felt this book was part Daisy Jones in the beginning (I’m not a fan of character driven novels) and the party portion of the book was more Evelyn Hugo to me (a lot of drama and more action packed) it was a 3.5 for me
