Bro, can I recommend you an overdrive pedal that has absolutely stolen my #1 OD pedal slot?
Try to get your hands on a Black Arts Toneworks Black Forest. Between the two band EQ, and the input cap “depth” selector, it’s so flexible and sounds absolutely incredible boosting a high gain amp. 100% old school transistor OD/fuzz depending on how high you dial the gain and it’s got TON of output.

Love this dudes channel! And ur alternate picking is awesome! How long did it take you to develop ur picking ? I know it’s an on going process. I have been at it for 5 years it’s a lot of work and dedication but it’s worth it for me!

Thank you!! I really appreciate the kind words. I've been at it for 20 + years now. It's definitely a lot of work developing the technique but it's worth every minute. I've used a metronome from time to time but a lot of it is just repetitive practicing.

Do you need the additional hardware to do captures, or does the pedal do it itself?

Good question. The pedal actually doesn't do the capturing, it's just a carrier of the captures. You need to have a computer, and interface and a reamp box to do captures with.
