I think you misunderstood what EAM are, most cc that use EAM usually hire their mod so someone who they already trust and paid, and EAM usually get direction on where to build unlike some stranger you pay for dailies/farming (there are services online where its more in line with what you said just not EAM), I do agree that people who uses EAM doesnt understand the struggle of farming/grinding especially on one clip Mr.Pokke and Tectone literally falsely imply that gacha like genshin and wuwa is dead (or in a dead patches) so they have nothing to do but play other game and even blame the game eventho there's ton of events going on, theres dailies and exploration (in the case of genshin and wuwa).

It really depends, because MrPokke actually just straight up let's people who volunteer to be an EAM in his discord, so long as he's seen them in chat before (So decently active). Also, Pokke and Tectone always joke about games being dead. They're never serious about that.

      Hi, thanks for the comment!
I'm curious to know where you're getting the information about EAM from? From what I know, discord/youtube/twitch mods are volunteers and don't get paid. Even the top streamers like xQc, Kai Cenat and Tyler1 don't pay their mods. I think I only know a handful of twitch/youtube streamers that do pay their mods. Unless the CC has a big channel, I don't think they have the budget to pay their mods.
I'm not 100% familiar with what an EAM's job description in the Gacha community but from listening to the Gacha Cast, it sounds like they're responsible for managing a CC's game account. It sounds like they're helping the CC keep their account up to date by doing dailies, using stamina, doing events etc.
I hope I don't come off as offensive because I'm really curious about this.

It would be nice if you expanded more on or reinforced your point in 4:57, on how having an EAM can skew your perception on the game, similar to how they did a contrast to being a CC and hiring a video editor despite it being like an apples to oranges scenario. Why compare playing a video game to youtube content creation? I could elaborate more as to why I think it is a false equivalency.
Also, on the point of EAMs if they do extend their duties to even tackle events, then wouldn't it make it ironic that most of the CC's in the podast you mentioned harped on about the lack of content when they themselves delegate events and other difficult content?
I think only one guy on the podcast gave some semblance of pushback against CC's using EAM's but he didn't pursue the topic further because... now I'm just making a guess here, but it could be to possibly avoid conflict and being ostracized, . xD
