I live in Florida and when we have crazy, tropical storms, I light some candles and listen to Sade. She invokes everything amazing and sensual! She's a beauty, class act and true musician! I wish the younger female artists would learn from her!
I love that last scene, Sade is in a torn down, barren landscape with no humans, in a real grimy environment, yet she's just playfully dancing through it. Once your heart is in paradise, even the ugliest things become beautiful, even the worst conditions seem like nothing.
@@truthseeker508 What she is symbolizing in this video is that paradise is in the heart and mind. She went back to a time when she was a little girl and took a trip down memory lane. The whole time ahe was in an industrial area but in her mind she was as a little girl enjoying the simple and care free pleasures of life
Sade music is perfect to me. She and her band knew what a real music should sound like. It is a pleasure for my ears and for my soul. And Sade herself is such a graceful, spiritual and beautiful woman, she reminds of Audrey Hepburn. Audrey was a person full of light and so is Sade.
Here a man speaking, claudia, my companion! Today I am an old man - 66 years old, but in the 80's I was absolutely in love with this woman - and she looks absolutely beautiful in this video. Her music with an incredible swing and a swing that would make anyone dance - it was very much the face of the incredible and unforgettable 80's. A time that died and is gone forever - now this woman is etched in every man's memory. Big, wonderful, beautiful and unforgettable SADE.

This is one of my all time favorite songs by Sade. It has such a warm and feel good vibe to it. Sade is a living legend she deserves more credit for her incredible and timeless music.
This is one of my all time favorite Sade songs. I can just put it on repeat and listen to it over and over. Before I saw this official music video, I had this vision of her standing barefoot in the sand, palm trees and the ocean all around here with a breeze blowing through her hair while singing this song. The video threw me for a loop. Not what I envisioned all these years. Lol Still fun to watch and amazing to hear! Love her beautiful voice.
That would’ve been the perfect video! This song is in my beach playlist and I swear there’s nothing better than feeling warm rays while listening to this.
Ocean Lover: The truth of the matter is that the entire "Stronger Than Pride" album has that Summer/Beach vibe for sure. That's why I love this woman so much for 37 years now and counting. Each album of hers is different and unique...
Another Sade gift to the masses. Loved this woman's works of art since '84. The world needs more of this music, more of this sound, more of this sweet soft sultry sexy sound with positive vibes.
Sade is probably the one recording artist who I've never heard anyone say they don't like. I mean, all races, all cultures, different nations. She appeals to all.

Sade’s Stuart Matthewman has revealed in a new interview with Rated R&B that the band have begun working towards a new album. According to Matthewman, Sade Adu and company have already written “a bunch of songs” for the follow-up to Soldier of Love, which was released in 2010. “[Sade’s] not interested in the fame or any of that [other] stuff. She likes to put out art,” Matthewman said. “So when it’s ready, it will come out.”

It's a wonderful thing that after a generation one can listen to Sade's music and it can still sound like it just came out of the studio fresh. Her music has a diversity of infusions and influences and I think that is what makes it continually relevant.
My absolute favorite Sade song! The beat is contagious! The bass and the bongos are intoxicating! It puts me in the best mood! I always imagine myself sashaying down the beach or riding with the top down to this song (I do the second one often). It is summertime music for sure. I can listen to it 20 times! I have already played it five times.❤️❤️❤️ Sade’s song, Maureen, is a close second. I love her upbeat songs.🥰🥰🥰
My son heard of Sade for the first time today, and listened to one of her songs, and said "Mom the singers that we have today suck." I remember listening to Sade myself as a child, and my soul absolutely loved her. So the quality that she posses is not easy to duplicate, and will touch all generations.
My mother used to leave CD 101.9 on ALL the time. I was listening to Sade since I can remember and I have to say I still listen to her. And yes the music we have today does not really compare.
I love Sade because even though she was rich and famous she still wanted to represent the normal people who might live in poverty but they are still happy and love life, it is their Paradise.
Sade never fails to amaze me. The one trait she possesss that very very few artists have is consistency. Throughout her career her songs have retained the same energy, tempo, mystery and emotion. Sade is the classiest, smoothest artist on the planet. Real romantic music 1980's style.
Reuben: Nicky Minaj and Rhianna are about as subtle as a bag of hammers when it comes to sexuality and sensuality. Sade possesses not only a powerful presence and unique voice, but has a way of expressing raw emotion as well. On top of being a bit of a mystery herself.. Not only that, but she has an overwhelming Sensuality that would leave both of those little girls in the dust. But the very young usually can't tell the difference between blunt force sexuality and the inherent power of raw sensuality. Sade is a woman, and they are both still adolescents.
She is the most respectful, loving, pure hearted singer, I have ever heard 👂! I grew up hearing her music 🎶 and her voice is embedded in my memory bank!

"I'd give u the sand off the shore, give the world if it were mine" Sade's lyrics have always been simple yet so profound 💕
"I'd wash the sand off the shore, I'd give you the world if it were mine"
@@chancregister2714 😆As an eight year old I sang "I'd rush the sound of the shore" with conviction
@@TheRetroWoman80 OMG that's what I thought she was singing when I first heard it.. lyric sheets make all the difference.. lol
@@creativewriter3887 🤣🤣🤣yes they do!!
Sade never fails to amaze me. The one trait she possesss that very very few artists have is consistency. Throughout her career her songs have retained the same energy, tempo, mystery and emotion.
Sade is the classiest, smoothest artist on the planet. Real romantic music 1980's style.
D XD she got nothing on my girl nicky minaj and rhianna
common Rueben let's see what nicky & rhianna does in 20 yrs
Reuben: Nicky Minaj and Rhianna are about as subtle as a bag of hammers when it comes to sexuality and sensuality. Sade possesses not only a powerful presence and unique voice, but has a way of expressing raw emotion as well. On top of being a bit of a mystery herself.. Not only that, but she has an overwhelming Sensuality that would leave both of those little girls in the dust. But the very young usually can't tell the difference between blunt force sexuality and the inherent power of raw sensuality. Sade is a woman, and they are both still adolescents.
It brings back memories of the 80s but it's not dated. Classic.
rueben cristobal - you've got to be kidding.
Queen Sade ❤ 🙌🏻🙌🏿🙌
She is the most respectful, loving, pure hearted singer, I have ever heard 👂! I grew up hearing her music 🎶 and her voice is embedded in my memory bank!
"Paradise"
[Verse]
I'd wash the sand off the shore
Give you the world if it was mine
Blow you right to my door
Feels fine
[Chorus]
Feels like
You're mine
Feels right
So fine
I'm yours
You're mine
Like paradise
I'd give you the world if it was mine
Feels fine
Feels like
You're mine
I'm yours
So fine
Like paradise
[Verse]
I'd wash the sand off the shore
Give you the world if it was mine
Blow you right to my door
Feels fine
[Chorus]
Feels like
You're mine
Feels right
So fine
I'm yours
You're mine
Like paradise
[Outro]
Ooh, what a life
Ooh, what a life
Ooh, what a life
Ooh, what a life
I wanna share my life
Wanna share my life with you
Wanna share my life
I wanna share my life
Wanna share my life with you
Wanna share my life
I wanna share my life
Wanna share my life with you
(Ooh, what a life)
Wanna share my life
Wanna share my life with you
(Like paradise)
Wanna share my life
Wanna share my life with you
Wanna share my life
Wanna share my life with you
