I wish Pat McGrath did singles, I’ve wanted to try her shimmer formula forever but I don’t love any of the palette’s colour stories enough to justify parting with that much money when realistically I just want the shimmers :|

I don't know if you can order then in the UK but Sephora has their own brand cream liquid lip stain and it is UNREAL in how transferproof it is - it's a liquid lipstick but it doesn't feel or look super matte even once it's dried. I have like a brown/red shade so it's dark-ish and I ate a whole meal in it (and got my invisalign out and in again in it!!!) and it didn't even smudge. They have like a million colours, too, and it's like less than half the price of the Dior one.

Huetopian Dream is really pretty and probably the one I would want the most, but personally I don’t think even I could justify that price for 10 shadows 😭

I was super excited about the Dior lipsticks because I prefer bullet lipstick. I bought two of the darker shades. They were horribly dry and patchy and as I try to build them up to cover up the patches it just takes more lipstick off and becomes more patchy. They are also heavily scented. Big disappointment especially for the price tag.
Yea exactly!! I just don’t understand why people enjoy skincare in their makeup. I’d rather choose my skincare routine and spend the money there and not spend a fortune on makeup just because it has skincare benefits that won’t help my skin much in the slightest! 🤷♀️
Elf putty primers work really good for me... I use the original on most my face, the illuminating under eyes and cheek bones, the mattifying on eye lids as a shadow primer .. I do prep my face with a oil control moisturizer or something bc I am more oily combo

I've been curious about those Dior lipsticks, they are super expensive. I like Charlotte tilbury and pat mc grath lipsticks which are cheaper but not transfer proof, however with all lipsticks that claim to be transfer proof, I find that most of them aren't, except for those Maybelline liquid lipsticks where you need to wrestle with a bottle of makeup remover just to get it off
