    NOTE: Get a clear glass add with 2 cups of water - add 2 tsp of table salt mix/dissolve. Add batteries, when they stop bubbling they’re re-charged. I’ve tried it & it works.

      @@RM-yf2lu Somehow I don't think this will help if you're stranded in a natural disaster. Drilling into batteries while wasting glue and salt is not an efficient use of resources in that situation. Good science experiment though.

      ​@@SamHome-e7j Salt (sodium) is used to rapidly dry & harden superglue. But if you're not worried about drying time, you can use any glue, like epoxy or hot glue. But don't drill into batteries. It's a bad idea. It doesn't last.

    There should be a warning at the start of this video to not attempt this with Lithium batteries. Drilling into batteries is always risky, but a ruptured Lithium battery can start a house fire.

    It would be great knowledge if stranded with dead batteries and where you can't replace them with new ones. But for practical purposes trying to reenergize Alkaline Batteries the charge wouldn't last maybe for a few hours then dies again.

    👉You have to recharge the salted refurbished dry cell after every 2 hour.
    👉The refurbished salted dry cell would not last more than a month.
    👉The electrolytes leakage from salted refurbished dry cell would corrode and ruin the clock's main battery terminals within a week.

    Yes but what about battery leakage. Batteries are cheap enough now and eventually, if you recharge the battery, it may leak and ruin tne device.

    Además la 3ra batería si se fijan bien la mide de forma invertida el cable negativo del multimetro (negro) esta en el polo positivo de la tercera pila a medir

      One AA battery costs about 0,40€. When you restore a battery, you get a bad battery which has value much less than 0,40€. Count what hour salary you will earn restoring batteries which may even leak and destroy your device.

    I have an alkaline battery charger that I bought 20 years ago. You can recharge an alkaline battery 4-5 times with a proper charger.

    Better to buy new batteries instead of arranging a injection, salt, water, pvc pipe, 2 old batteries, a useful charger and cable, elfi, springs, drill machine, lighter, paper, extension, time etc. etc.

    Nice trick! But you really should remove the charger from the 220Vac wall power supply before start stripping and cutting the cable. Most probably the charger is protected against short-circuit., but still... it is not good habit, in my opinion.

      Maybe test AA batteries, but you should also equip yourself with more knowledge before doing it. For me, this is an interesting experiment. If in an urgent case that I need batteries, I will do this to use the batteries temporarily. Thank!

    Hmmmmmm, your mistake was cutting the conductors while you supposedly had the socket plugged into a socket at 120 volts, and on top of it all, you were holding onto the conductors while doing a test 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

    Der erste April ist erst in gut 3 Monaten. Wir haben schon vor 50 Jahren in der Schule gelernt, dass man Batterien nicht wieder aufladen kann. Höchstens etwas auffrischen, indem man sie auf der warmen Heizung legt. Und das hält dann auch nur kurz. Eine Batterie an einem Netzteil anzuschließen ist für das Netzteil wie ein Kurzschluss. Auch die neuen Akkuladegeräte zeigen dann Error an.
