no need, proxychain will automatically connect to the tor network.
Idk why but it doesn't work for me. I tried with Firefox too. Everything's fine but for each process it logs "ping timeout" in the terminal

Get out of root just write "exit" then do the "proxychains Firefox" should work
config file does not showing
make sure your not in root also the file can be named other things sometimes it's odd
How to save file ?? Command ??
When you add your proxychain in your config file you wanna press ctrl x to save then hit enter.
