In Botha's previous 3 fights he was KO'd by Mike Tyson, then had a Draw with Shannon Briggs, and finally beat a no-name in Steve Pannell prior to his bout with Lewis. Hardly qualifies him as a legitimate title challenger here.
@@richardharrison859 That doesn't tell the story well at all. Given that you are aware of the Tyson fight you failed to say that Botha was winning the fight with Tyson by a large margin until Tyson landed his hail Mary right hand in round 5. Briggs was a major contender at the time and a draw with him was nothing to be ashamed of. Lewis was fighting often during this time and cleaning out the division. Before you post a stupid uneducated comment do some research or perhaps you're being disingenuous because you want to diminish Lewis' accomplishments? If you're going to try to discredit what I've written, get back to me with Botha's ranking at the time of this fight and tell me what Briggs' ranking was as well.
@@kevdean9967 I second ur thoughts
Yes
Best Ever yesirr
Lennox Lewis still under estimated by some
This Botha thing was not a boxer, after being knocked out by Tyson he crawled like a Cape Buffalo that has been shot with a shotgun
"Botha thing?" Coming from an undoubtedly racist, arm chair warrior, who wouldn't dare crawl on the same side of a street Botha was walking on...you are disgusting!
Alright and is an interview botha was asked who hits harder between lennox klitszchkco tyson he said tyson
Iron Mike fought a fortnight previously against Lou Saverese. But iron Mike against Lennox wouldn't of done nothing like Botha did. Tyson would of made things happen straight from the off.
😂
Don't worry Botha. Tyson even got knock out the ring....Danny Williams
If that was a black fighter they would have continued fight.
White Buffalo reduced to white goat 😂😂😂
Don't put Mike Tyson down, you chumps.
He was better than any Lewis in his prime.
Your systems ruined his life, and he still came back and knocked many good boxers out.
Stole 3 of his prime years.
Who all are crushed by Tyson, became easy for lennox, as Lennox fought against Tyson's victims. Then Lennox defeated out of form Tyson that too he took 8 rounds. Tyson prime before drugs or jail could kill Lennox just like that
Did it happen?
Botha beat the hell out of Tyson for 4.5 rounds. Botha didn't land 4 total shots against Lewis.
No way in hell
Lennox was older than tyson when he faught him
@@azmainfaiak8111 how
Lewis was simply to much for Botha, to big, to skilled, to strong, to much pop in his right hand.
If it was a black man..... The refree would have sent him back out to take more punishment .
White African x Black British..
Lenox is Jamaican.

No such thing as a white African, they’re just guest in Africa.
@@oloruncorey6745 - Shame we have so many African guests in Europe.

When you see the white goatee and beginning of an old man's physique, now and again it looks like Lennox was fighting a grandad.
He’s actually younger than Lennox
Lennox made botha paid for what peter botha did in apartheid
剣士黒い 😁😂😂👌
👍
Lewis and claressa dangerous
Tyson took longer to beat Botha. But he ko'd him with 1 punch. Lewis had to do it with accumulated damage over 2 rounds. Couldn't do it with a single punch. Botha also got up easier from Lewis's knock down. He couldn't get up at all from Tysons knock out. The announcers on here acting like Tysons ko was nothing compared to Lewis's. But it's the other way around.
Not only that, donno why these illiterate bastards compare Tyson with Lennox, Botha is old, but he was prime when Tyson beat him
Over a. Of time both of sophomore of Mike Tyson punches so by time Mike Tyson's live at the knockout punch it was hard for him to get up,
You can clearly see at the beginning Botha was hurt from Lennox's punches which were so few and then the knockout punch came.
So it is questionable, Tyson may hit a little harder than Lennox. Lewis
Botha didn't see Tyson's punch coming. In boxing, it's almost always the punch you don't see that knocks you out cold. Botha saw Lennox's punch coming.
So.........???so mike just lucky to punch that..... without that he would have easily lost the fight as botha dominated 4.5 rounds .........but against lewis botha did not even land 4 punches....overall lewis is the better fighter than tyson
@AZMAIN Faiak no he isn't. Lennox got destroyed in one punch by mccall and rahman glass jaw lennox
Lewis destroyed him
C'mon man, dude he fought was a foot smaller!! What the announcers think was gonna happen.!!!@#$%
When there's a 6 inch height advantage and a 10 inch reach advantage; that means the bout will be a TOTAL mismatch. I mean, look at them in the ring. It looks like a man in their vs. a kid. Should have never been scheduled.
Yet americans were saying that mike tyson would beat him for years.
Size means nothing....
Tyson beat taller and physically stronger boxers than lewis.
The only difference is lewis is a great boxer.
@@immanuelmescudi6700 Hasim Rahman caught lewis and he was smaller.

Hid from Tyson. Got but a sleep. he could be the greatest dogger of all time ye that sounds Wright
Have respect for one of the greatest boxer the world has ever seen. Lennox lewis has never dogged any1, they were afriad to fight him. Lennox Lewis always said he'll fight any1 after almost every fight wen he was ask wats n who nxt. Oh history check , most of the person Mike Tyson fought wen he was in his prime, Lennox lewis has beating Quicker, so how yuh think a prime Mike Tyson would n could av beaten Lennox lewis wen he has destroyed Mike's opponents Quicker than he did. Keep ur personally vendetta to urself n give respect where it's due.

Tyson destroyed Botha by one punch ! And it was a shot Tyson against a better version Botha.
Lewis looked good against shot fighters.
