Surprised to see a village actually named Himalaya! Watching you climb a 1000 meters made me imagine the effort it must have taken for the locals to construct these neat tea houses and maintain them. Do these pit-stops belong to different communities Gurungs, Magars etc?
Since you were trekking towards a rain shadow region, the rain might have gradually subsided. I liked the stretch full of bamboo, oak & rhododendron from upper sinuwa to deurali. Specially, at the place called Dovan..I could hear plenty of birdlife in the surrounding forests (considering it was a sunny morning). The changing mist over the Modi khola valley is beautiful to witness. The strewn boulders & landslide at deurali were interesting & disturbing at the same time. Afterall, every rock uplifted, exposed and eroded that we witness in the ranges are marine sediments, like the ones we see in Ladakh and Zanskar. Looking forward to the extensive views of Macchapuchare through your lens.

Yes the forest trail is simply marvelous..Specially from Bamboo onwards till Himalaya...after himalaya it gets rocky..I was actually wandering how they constructed those stairs all along the trail till MBC..rain actually subsided as we ascend gradually..Deurali is basically marks the start of high altitude..a place full of waterfalls all around...from Deurali the trail enters the gully of Machhapuchare massif and Annapurna Massif
