Love them. So humble. So relatable. No ego.
The average NFL roster turnover rate is around 30-35%. The 49ers, since 2019 Super Bowl run season, is 20-25%. One of the lowest in the NFL (I think 2nd or 3rd). They don’t lose a lot of mid season acquisitions at the end of the year. They resign and extend players at one of the highest rates in the league. And they are a free agent preferred destination. That’s how you build a long term winner.
Thats because the organization is a well oiled machine and understands how to draft players that fit into the scheme. They also believe in developing players and not being so big on big names cuz it sounds good.
They focus on culture. It's not just about the best stats but about the Man behind the player.
AND build through the draft, as Bill Walsh said to. That's probably the single most important thing in keeping a roster together.
P.S. ADAM PETERS is a very very major reason for the roster.
Hopefully they are able to re-sign chase to the long term deal

@@joseprince21 - any player that lines up in the backfield behind the QB is a “running back” - One is a fullback, one is a Halfback or tailback , both are Running backs though.
A lot of modern offenses don’t use Fullbacks anymore - so that’s why a lot of people naturally assume Running backs = Halfbacks and not Full backs.
@@13Kr4zYAzN13 - they both play “running back” Kyle is the Fullback, Christian is the Halfback in most formations- but, both are considered running backs. A lot of modern offenses don’t use 2 running back formations anymore (full back/ Half back) we do. So, yes- both are running backs. Full and half.

P.S. Kyle was Christian's babysitter when he was a young brat, so they had met before. I guess he meant that as a professional they hadn't met until Christian came to the 49ers.

BA is more important because it takes 2-3 years for receivers to learn the system and be able to perform in the system. ‘No Block, No Rock’ , lots of receivers wouldn’t make it on the Niners since they can’t block to our standards. Do we really want to struggle with the growing pains/learning curve of a new wide receiver? BA’s route tree is way more complete than Deebo’s, hence BA is more important on the team since there’s some similarity in CMC’s skillset and Deebo’s skillset.
